My son is 14months and wakes at 7.30am, has breakfast at 8.30am, a nap about 11.30am (ish), lunch between 12.30pm and 1pm, tea at 5.30pm, bath at 6pm, bottle and bed at 7pm :) x

hi my name is laura from ireland iv a little girl whos 13months and she wont drink milk nemore since she was sick before christmas but since she was a baby she still wakes during the nite for a bottle and wont sleep in her cot either ne1 ne ideas xx

My sons 14 months old, his routine is as follows::

Wake up 7:15-7:40
Bottle as soon as he wakes
Breakfast about 8:30
Mid morning snack 10:30
Nap 11:30- usually about 2 hours long (Bottle before nap)
Lunch 1:30
Mid afternoon snack 3:30
Dinner 5:00-5:30
Snack 6:30
Bath- 7
Bed & Bottle 8.......Doesn't wake up until the next morning

Having a couple of hours in the evening to tidy up the house, do the ironing, and enjoy my partner is a god send to me especially when i'm 6 1/2 months pregnant.

My DD gets up at 9am (She's up at 7-8 but plays in her crib until 9) eats breakfast, play until 12 has a bottle of milk and lays down for nap until 3pm (again same as getting up) the gets up, has lunch, plays has dinner with us at 5-6 and then bath @ 730 every other night and bottle of milk.

my son Nurses all the time as well. I sometimes feel lke that is all he wants to do. I am working on spreading out his nursing times. what time does she get up in the AM ? Is she getting a nap? Jack still needs 2 and he gets up at 7ish. I try to get him to bed around 9 at night. I really just go with the flow. If he looks tired he sleeps..As for meals. He eats 3 and a few snacks. Breakfast around 8-9 Lunch 12 and dinner 6 ish. we do alter it depending on his moods etc...

hi, my little girl maisie was 1 in dec.
she has 3 meals a day plus snacks, mid morning and mid afternoon. when she gets up she has breakfast straight away and we are usually finished by 8am. she has lunch at 12 noon and then dinner around 5pm. maisie will have her bath after dinner and a few ounces of milk in her cup. she is in bed by 6-6:30pm. she still sleeps during the day too once in the morning after playing for a couple of hours then the same after lunch. i hope this is of some use to you. all the best cara and maisie.

My son is 13 months and has a pretty regular schedule
7-8 wake up and b'fast - cereal, sometimes toast and milk from a cup (just weaning off bottle so sometimes there is one thrown in here but not usually)
10 snack of fruit and sometimes yoghurt
11.30 - 12.30 lunch of s'wiches, vegies, salad whatever!
12.30 - 2 goes down for a sleep usually 2 hours. Has a bottle either before or after the sleep but again he seems to be weaning off this bottle too!
3 snack of fruit
5 dinner of meat and vegies and custard
5.30 bath and dressed, quiet play and stories
6.00 ready for bottle followed by some more play usually!
6.30 into bed for sleep by 7 (usually always!) Having some trouble not being in the room while he puts himself off to sleep at night but gradually getting there with some controlled crying and gradual removal!

Plenty of water throughout the day and some extra snack biscuits if he is a bit cranky but not quite meal time. Will sometimes also have a short morning sleep if he has had a few really busy days but usually only one and a 12-13 hr uninterrupted night time sleep.

my sons routine most days:

7:30 wakes up has a morning cup of milk while i get him dressed
8:00 plays plays plays lol
11:00 cup of milk than nap time
2:00 wakes up eats and we re-dress to go get Bubba and Sissy from school
3:00 has some milk than plays with siblings
6:00 cup of milk && nap time
6:30 wakes up lol (i know short nap) & plays
7:30 dinner mmm... lol
8:30 bath time
9:00 nighty - night out like a light!!

ok my Daughter's routine goes like this most days:
06.20am wakes up
06.30am has breakfast
07.15am has breastfeed i then dress her change nappy etc then she plays
08.30am nap for 45mins to 1.5hrs
11.30am Lunchtime
12.00noon breastfeed
14.30pm nap for 45mins to 1.5hrs
16.00pm snack
17.00pm dinner
17.30pm breastfeed, quiet playtime
18.00pm bathtime
18.20pm massage, storytime and cuddles with mummy
19.00pm bedtime -falls asleep by herself with her cuddly toy while she sucks on her fingers.
sleeps all night mostly. Up until 3 weeks ago she woke during the night 3x every night and i nursed her to sleep for her naps and at bedtime everyday. I like to have the evening to myself but the early mornings are bit hard going. We started the controlled crying sleep method 3 weeks ago and havn't looked back since. It was amazing for us as from 1 day she was waking every 2-3 hrs during the night to sleeping for a solid 9 hours. Was really hard at first but once i got past the first 2 days it was easier, found it harder to get her down for naps than at the end of the day. The routine has become alot better once she started sleeping thru properly also. next thing on my list is to start weaning as she is becoming rather dis interested in feeding and just likes to play and keeps going on and off the boob giggling and laughing after a minute or 2. Is funny and i end up laughing at her too which dosn't help i think. :-)

I have 2 boys 4 and 1. Their schedules are varied. My four year old gets up at 9 has breakfast, 1030 snack, 1230 lunch, and dinner at 530. My 1 year old is a sleeper. he wakes up between 10-11. I then give him fruit and yogurt. 1-130 lunch, 230 snack, and 6 dinner. My boys have a bath at 730, story time and in bed by 830.

My sons routine is usually



07.30 wakes

07.45 gets up and cup of milk

08.00-08.15 breakfast

10.00-10.30 snack

12.00 lunch

12.30 nap for 2 hours

15.00 snack

17.00 dinner

18.15 bath

19.00 cup of milk then bed



I breastfedfor the firstl 6 months so can't really help you with that, sorry, he now just has his blankie when going to sleep.

My baby is 13 months, his routine is like:
5:45-6am wake, brought in our bed for breastfeed
7am breaky with cereal , banana, toast
9:30-10am ish nap for 45 mins - 2 hours
12 noon lunch
2-3ish nap for 45 mins
6pm dinner
6:15pm breastfeed
7:15 start bath
7:30 in bed
(usually sleeps through the night with exceptions).

I used to breastfeed him just before getting him off to sleep, but then I stopped doing that by feeding him jsut after dinner. It helps him to not need a feed to go to sleep. Also makes it easier to ask someone else to settle him to sleep when we want to go out for the night.

The early wakening is painful, but I'm happy with a bit of spare time to ourselves after he's gone to sleep at 7:30pm.

He is breastfed only twice a day. I think the key is to cut down a feed at a time, once every few weeks. I only give him water in between. He wouldn't take the bottle, or milk. He eats a huge variety of food though.

my son wakes around 6-7 has a bottle then breaky. has a nap around 10,wakes around 12 has lunch n botlle. has a nap around 2ish n is up by 4. he lets me no when he wants snacks which is handy but he normally has them after a main meal. he has tea with us at 6.bath at 6:30 play time then bottle n bed arond 8-9pm. his routine is going out of wack at the moment. he has started to leave out his morning nap...n going to bed around ten?! i had him in a very strict routine for monthes but then daylight savings mucked it up a bit but im getting there:)

My baby wakes up et 7:30-8:00 and breakfeast by 8:30, nap at 10:00 for 1h. Lunch around 12:00-12:30 nap around 2:30-3:00 for 1 or 2h, little snak around 4:30, supper at 6:00, bath at 7:00 and back to bed at 7:30-8:00 for all night...my baby isn't BF anymore...that is why he sleep all night through! At 1 year old I don't think they should still wake up at night!

your baby's are sleeping so much! My son has 13 months and only sleeps 45 min. in de morning and 1,5h in the afternoon. He goes to bed @ 7.30 and wakes up @ 00.30, 03.00, 05.00 and 6.30. He has been ill like 18 times sinds birth. Someone any tricks to help me?

I feed him a lot and I boob him 3 times a day but he is still kind of on the skinny side so for all that food he is just burning right through it:)

Good luck it is hard to keep to a routine, in my case this is all about because some days he sleep 3 hours for morning nap and then 2 hours in the afternoon, it's nice to have the time to do stuff around the house but it is so hard to plan anything for going out:)

My daughters 12months she goes to sleep for 7pm wakes up at 8.30, has her cereal then has some toast at eleven. She then has her dinner at 1pm has a sleep for half an hour and then a snack at 3pm. She then has her tea at 5pm and a bottle at 6.45 to be in bed by 7pm. I didnt breastfeed to cant help you on that one. xx

my son is almost 13 months and has always been a high sleep baby. routine is BF between 7-7.30, even if awake earlier. then pretty much straight to cereal, done by 8. morning tea of fruit/yoghurt at 9.30 [this was the 2nd meal I switched from BF]. then nap around 10 which at the moment can go anywhere from 90 mins to the land-speed record of 4.5hrs. lunch when he wakes up, anywhere from 11.30 onwards. afternoon tea with yoghurt @ 2.30 [also a BF switch, followed by sleep if he only had 90 mins in the morning. LATEST awake time 4-4.15 or he won't sleep that night. dinner 5-5.30 fruit with little yoghurt and some ceral in it to help tide him over, but can stretch to closer to 6 if he's OK. get my/our dinner ready after his so its a simple job to finish off and eat after he's asleep. tidy up at 6+, bath 6.20 then stories and 2nd & final BF then sleep at 7. should have stories last though, but had to switch following a holiday routine disaster. also, plenty of water opportunities during the day from a straw.



7 to 7 routine is about setting them up for good sleep habits for life. i miss the sleep in that having a later-to-bed baby can mean, but I know its for his own benefit. And having him asleep by 7 is wonderful for my sanity - 2 hours of "me" time really helps keep me going.



his sleep routines will change over the next few months as he moves to just one big sleep closer to the middle of the day.



check out the australian baby whisperer book, i found it during sleep disasters at 6 months. it has literally saved us so many times. practical and down to earth. i resisted her routines at first, they seemed so hard and fast but, they really do work. and once you get in the groove, you can tell where your baby has some "give". and everyone comments what a happy baby he is... so I figure, this stage isn't going to last long and it's a small price to pay for a happy, content and pretty easy baby.

Our routine varies, split custody and changing work schedules don't help, but usually something like this: wake up between 8-8:30am, have breakfast, up for 2 hours on the dot then ready for a nap! Naps 1 1/2-2 hrs, up for lunchtime, then play! Another nap in the afternoon 1 1/2-2 hrs, then snack. Dinner usually 7-7:30 pm, play for awhile, then to bed usually between 8:30-9pm. Eating all solids and whole milk in a sippy cup, goes "nigh-night" with his blankie and sleeps through the night (an occasional fuss but usually goes back to sleep on his own or with the paci popped back in) And yes, still has paci at a year, but not ready to fight that battle yet (lol), only has it at naptime and bedtime

my son has breakfast around 8.30am then lunch between 12 and 1pm then a nap for around an hour/an hour and a half, then a snack about 3ish, dinner at 5pm then bath about 6pm followed by a bottle about 7pm and bed no later than 8pm i hope this helps!! :)

My son just started nursery so we have just changed routine. Now he wakes up at 8 for breakfast and is in nursery at 9-12 , lunch at 12:30ish , then a nap (1 - 11/2hrs) bottel for tea @3ish bath at 6:30 supper at 7, bottel and bed by 8 and he stil sti=eeps by me cuddleing him to sleep :)
