You know those amazing taste buds?
What about that awesome SUPER HERO nose?
And the sight of things?

Well... All of us who have had children before know how NOT awesome and amazing they can be haha!

Do you have any cravings yet? Does the smell of some things make you wanna hurl from time to time? What about the sight of some food or messes?

So far for me this has been an unpleasent run haha. I can cook the meat, however, I CAN NOT eat it. Unless I go out to eat. Since I had my son 18 months ago my super hero sense of smell never really left but it has enhanced. And some food taste SOOO good in my mouth but if i attempt to swallow it. YEAH RIGHT!

Im loving salty foods and cold treats like ice cream and milk shakes. I have never craved this early in the pregnancy?!?!! So its a little od for me but normal for others!

WHAT ABOUT YOU? :)

Bacon.... Bacon.... Bacon... The only meat I can down and keep it down haha. I read that sour helps keep nausea away. Maybe your body is being helpful.

My biggest craving has been for the amazing hot and sour soup made at a restaurant near my mom. She lives an hour away but there has been several times I was ready to jump in the car and go after it!
The strangest part is I only had this soup one time long before I was pregnant but I can taste and smell the complex mixture of flavors very vividly!

Lol that's too funny. My senceof smell is not nice to my morning sickness.... When my son goes in his potty and I dread dumping it.... Can't wait till he's not scared of the big potty haha.

oh and that sense of smell! I can smell for hours before my daughter needs to do a poo. It's gross. I'll say, go to the toilet, you need to do a poo, and she says No I don't, then sure enough, later that day, there it is. Like I can smell it inside her body.

what can I say, it's a gift.

same as my last 'successful' pregnancy, from week 7 I can not even think about food, look at it in its packet, or at the real thing without feeling like a pressure in the front of my throat like I'm going to vomit and feel motion sick -type nausea in the stomach.

The only drink that doesn't make me want to gag is Coke. I know, really healthy. I don't usually drink it, but I can not get enough of it, keeping it to a glass or two a day though. Last time it was Fruit Cup cordial (like tropical cool-aid).

Premiums, like rectangle crackers with salt on them, are good. It seems the worse the food is health wise, the more I can tolerate it. Any thing with chicken or lamb cooked in it is vile, onion, garlic, tomato, blah.

Loving spicy curries and chillies(not normal), jelly with fruit bits in it, mandarines are in season and I don't mind them, the smell is really fresh.

I eat at least two evening meals. All my meals are small, as my stomach capacity seems to have shrunk, so I eat with my daughter, then with my husband later, then right before bed too, or I wake up starving at 3am.

but every time something makes me feel sick, or I feel sick for no reason but probably low blood pressure/ low blood sugar, I think YAY!

Not so much cravings but increased sense of smell is definately one I can relate to :D

Any little thing can make the horrid M/S fairy rear her ugly head :( all meat (except fish) & diary (& eggs) product smells off to me and i will go a little green when they are prepared or eaten near me.

Very very thirsty though, can never seem to drink enough without my mouth and lips drying out. never had this with my first lol. With him my cravings were extra salt with everything and spicy salami sticks (pepperamis). Will be interesting to see what it will be this time
