I had an appt yesterday and I gained 8lbs in a month. I am up 11lbs so far. I have been snacking a lot in the last few weeks. I am really hoping that I stay with in 25-30lbs.

By the time I was 9 weeks with twins I lost 10lbs due to nausea. I'm now 23 weeks and have gained 20lbs plus the 10lbs I lost in the first trimester, so 30lbs total. I didnt start gaining much weight till I was 16 weeks.

With my first two pregnancies I actually lost about 10 lbs each time in the first trimester due to lack of appetite. This time around I'd gained 4lbs by the time I hit 12 weeks. Its normal, most weight you gain at first has VERY little to do with baby and more to do with bloating and whatnot. Overall weight gain varied with my first I gained about 45lbs only 30lbs with my second, and Im 38 weeks with my third and gained 37lbs. There's a pretty wide range of normal when it comes to weight gain there is a lot that factors in, some in your control some not!

I bought some maternity leggings/stretchy pants yesterday in a dress size one bigger than my usual size, and all day wearing them I was constantly hitching them up as their crotch was just not long enough. My bum and thighs were pulling them down and my belly was pushing them down. very annoying as I'm only going to get bigger. They might come in handy after the birth hey.

What is the most confusing part about my body, I am now down 4 pounds from pre-prego, but I look pregnant. I've been in maturnity clothes for a month already!!! LMAO. Doesn't make sense to me.

Lol its funny your mentioned your bum. the other day my fiancé came up to me and said WOW your butt is gettin bigger... I turn around with a straight face. He finishes with... In a good way! Next day.... I noticed the seem in my favorite jeans on the bum was TEARING!!! Talk about "oh my god Becky" LOL

well I really feel a bit better yesterday and today. I havn't reached for the Coke most of the week and am enjoying water again, thank goodness. My butt will thank me for that.

Still not keen on eggs, chicken thigh or bacon. (I know!, I love bacon!)

Things are looking up. I feel more 'pregnant' now with a bit of a bump and not feeling vile.

So Ive gained about 18 lbs... and then stopped! Thank goodness!!! I thought I was going to b carrying twins with the rate I was gaining wait! LOL. I still eat like small frequent meals but now im not gaining so much weight so quickly.

I am glad to hear that is completely normal because I will also be 13 weeks this week and still haven't gained any weight. Now that I am almost nausea-free, I can finally eat :)

I only gained 23lbs with my first (he was 6lbs 4oz) and didn't actually start gaining it til 5 months. But then I was so excited when I lost 33 after birth. With my second I also gained 23lbs (he was 7lbs and 3oz). And again it took a while to start gaining it. I lost the 23 but no more. I have maybe only gained a pound or two with this one so far. I will be 13 weeks on friday. I just got over the nausea last week. Now that that is gone I am sure I will pack on the pounds. My dr with all 3 said that 25-35 lbs is a good range for me.

While I have morning sickness/nausea I pretty much just eat bland foods/salty foods. Crackers, toast, pretzels, and corn flakes. Not a very good diet to begin with but it is what I can keep down. After nausea goes away I think I go overboard on the sweets. Cookies, danishes, glazed doughnuts etc... My oldest just informed me that he wants to make a cake today so I think that we just might have to do that.

Now at 12 weeks and still haven't gained any weight. Actually still down 3lbs from pre-pregnancy weight (started out at 216 lbs). Dr put me on a thyroid medicine because my thyroid wasn't working, so we believe that is what has kept my weight off. I think its good for me because I'm only allowed to gain 11-20 lbs the whole pregnancy so the less I gain now, the more room I have at the end of the pregnancy, right? lol

Before i found out i was pregnant i weighed about 135 pds. i ended up going to the hospital with pains around 8 weeks and weighed myself and i was 145 pounds. Then a week later went to the doctors and got weighed was 152 pounds at 9 weeks. I went to the doctors at 12 weeks and weighed 148 pds lol but i relized i wasnt really hungry that much. it was werid not eating much has anyone else bin like that?

I am officially 9 weeks as of today and as of 2 weeks ago I had actually lost 3 pounds. I haven't had much nausea, haven't thrown up though, THANK GOD! I really haven't had much in the way of cravings, actually my never ending desire for sweets has drastically reduced. And when I do want sweets, its usually not much at all. I've done really good at staying away from caffene. Gotta love caffene free soda, lol. Don't worry, it's normal.

Oh I can't wait for this morning sickness and fatigue to go away! Hopefully it won't last the whole pregnancy. I too have been craving cakes! This last one... German chocolate with pecan and coconut filling and topping with chocolates drizzle MMmmmm. A Neoplaton cake with confetti icing. Right now cakes cookies pies fizzy drinks and OREOs. Or... Wendy's fries and chicken nuggets dipped in frosty. With and extra frosty just for eating.

oh yeah, every bit of sugar I put in my mouth goes straight to my concience. My fave at the moment are little spring rolls that go in the oven. So crispy, and just veges inside. If I could just have those and coke, I'd be set. Getting better now though, not feeling too sick at all any more, just little bits here and there, but I put my feet up and it goes away. Not so tired any more either, just need to lie down now and then.

I have a yearning for a moist chocolate cake with plenty of ganache layers. Just can't find it. But when I do, I'll be ordering a big slice!

Cakes and cookies and fizzy drinks oh my! Heaven in disguise lol jk. I can barely eat real food... So that's pretty much all I can eat. Yogurt and ginger are the only healthy things going in me.... :( oh well....

With my first daugher, I lost 5 kgs/ 11 lbs during the first 14 weeks from all the morning sickness and food aversions. Then by the end, I was 13 kgs/ 28lbs above my pre-pregnant weight, so I went 74kgs to 69kgs, then up to 87kgs (163 to 152, to 191lbs). That ended at 42 weeks with a 8lb 7oz girl.



My prepregnancy weight for this one was 70kgs/ 154lbs and I'm 72kgs/158lbs now at 11 weeks. I blame all the carbs I eat now. I lost some weight last year on a less carb, smaller serves type of diet, so now it's all about the pasta and rice and sweet things it's going back on again. It can't be baby weight yet, it's only 2 inches long.



I'm not too worried about weight gain through pregnancy, at the moment I eat what I can, what won't make me gag. I do need to eat less refined sugar though, all those cakes and cookies and jelly and fizzy drinks are not going to help me after this pregnancy or during it, but for now, bring it on!

Nice and normal. With my first I gained 60 lbs.... I was VERY skinny when I got pregnant so it was all healthy. Lost our second. Third I only gained about 40-45 lbs, didnt gain any weight till about 3 or so months. He was almost 7lbs 15oz. And a week early. This time almost 8 weeks... ive gained 12 lbs. I dont know how I too have been super nauseous and major fatigue. No fun!

Every pregnancy is different and unique all with the best outcome :)
