Its summer time! We want to go for bike rides. Since we just moved here, I need to buy a bike. I was thinking to buy a cruiser because they are more comfortable to ride. We just want to ride in the park so I think it should be pretty safe. What do you guys think? Is it safe? Any experience?

Yeah no problem! I like to stay "fit" while pregnant and enjoy the nice weather too. I used to hike when I was pregnant with my son, beach the day before he was born haha! I used to walk almost 4 - 5 miles day while pregnant with my daughter and my fiance. Unfortuntely I am too much pain :( to go on long walks with the kiddos etc. So i just take them to the Childrens Museum or the Science Museum frequently. Drive to the park HAHA! then I have my dog pull me in the kids wagon when my back and legs hurt LOL!

As long as your not weight lifting or bench pressing, bungy jumping etc you should be fine LOL

Thanks for the advice Jacqueline! I was a little scared to buy it, but we did and it was lots of fun! Cruiser bikes are very comfortable.
It's hard not to have a doctor yet, but I have to wait till July for my insurance to be active. It's a bit hard to be guessing and researching anything I want to do or eat. Thanks for all your advice, you have been very helpful!

I dont see anything wrong with it. Obviously just dont over due it and relax when you feel exhausted. Bring plenty of water to drink. And some snacks in case you get hungry. Also talk to your doctor about any activities you might question. Riding a bike like most exersize while pregnant is good for you and the baby. Just dont fall off ;)
