This is my second child. I started showing a bit with my son around 11 weeks. But in the last week and half my stomach has extended to the point where I actually dug my maternity clothes out! I have probably gained about 3 lbs since I found out which isn't much but just thought it was strange to have such a belly already!!
I've been extremely nauseous and have my first ultrasound next week so anxious to make sure there is only (1) little baby. I'm about to hit 10 weeks on Monday.

Anyone else already have a belly??

My pants are tighter, but it's not baby, it's that the only food I can eat without wanting to vomit are really not good foods at all. and the foods I normally eat all make me nauseated. I also crave Coke, all other drinks, including water make me queazy. I try to stick to one glass a day but that's still more than I'd usually drink. and it's carbs carbs carbs.

I am 12 weeks yesterday, and at my apt on Thursday my Dr couldn't feel the fundus yet, but I do think it's definately displacing my insides already, as my whole front is sticking a bit further out, right up to my bra line.

thank goodness for the maxi dress is all I can say. It's coming into winter here, so by the time I'm getting huge, weather will be warming up so it'll be all dresses for me, I hate things around my waist being too tight and can't wear 'under the belly' type maternity things, my belly just goes too far down.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Though I kind of get pregnant all over, not just a cantaloupe. More like from my bra strap down to my pubic bone swells all over. Beach ball style. joy.

I am 11 and 1/2 weeks. Last week, I didn't have a belly. This week, it totally shows. Is it normal to go from nothing to a cantaloupe size belly? haha Still no weight gain.

I am glad that this one is due in the winter. With my 1st I was due in october and got lucky that it wasn't a hot summer that year. I also didn't get a very big belly. With my 2nd I was due in July and the hot weather started in May. I was a lot bigger with #2 than #1. I was so horribly uncomfortable by the time my due date came. At least with this one I will get the hot weather out of the way and wont be dying from the heat at 8 months. From the way my belly is starting to look I am going to be huge this time around.

This is my first so I guess that's why I am not showing. I just get so bloated that somedays I do look pregnant.

I like over the belly clothes. I feel more supported I guess. I wore HUGE granny nickers right up over my belly with Charlotte. You could watch a movie on them. I have a pair of maternity jeans that I love and can't wait to fit them, they're still a bit baggy around the waist. they have spandex through them (don't all great jeans?) and a 4in wide band of cotton spendex tshirty type material around the top. I wore them way after Charlotte was born, until they got too big.

My Besty had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with her second daughter, she's pregnant with her third as well and is afraid of getting again. So she's trying to eat healthy but has bad nausea. I had been taking pictures once a week and I can see me being big for this one. When I was 8 months pregnant with my son a lot my usuals finally started to ask if I was pregnant haha. I was carrying very low. With my daughter I was high so it was obvious by 5 months.

Well I am pregnant with #3 and I am showing. I still had a flabby belly from my 2nd so it was a little hard to tell. I didn't show with my first til about 5 months and with my second it was 3 months. I am a jeans and t-shirt type of person and most of the time I just wear sweatpants around the house anyway. My little sister is getting married this coming saturday. I have been trying on my bridesmaid dress over and over again just to make sure I will still fit in it. The dress was ordered before I got pregnant. I didn't miss the trying to lay on my side and it hurting. I don't want to dig out my maternity jeans because I find them so uncomfortable. I have a few pairs that Come up over my belly and I hate them. I have one pair that just go under the belly and I love them but they are stained because I wore them all of the time for both of my boys.

Thanks for all the comments. Makes me feel better. I am just amazed how you can go from no belly to "belly" or whatever it is so fast :) I'm ready for the 2nd trimester already, I didn't miss the constant having to go go the bathroom at night when I try to sleep.
I'm just hoping that I do not put on so much weight as I did with my son because I think that lead to me having gestational diabetes. So I hoping that this belly, fat or bloating whatever it is , is not the start of that! I've been so good though with what I'm eating and drinking because its the worst to have to check your blood sugar and go on a diet at 8 months pregnant!!!! I didn't have any nausea with my first and this one I have tons so its helping me from eating everything I really want too. We are entering summer here in Maryland, so lucky all my maternal clothes are summer but I do not have many dresses. Bethany I think I may stock up because I always hate things tight around my belly too! Thank you all again! Can't wait to actually see my little bean on the ultrasound, I remember it made my last pregnancy seem so real after seeing the baby!

Haha... When i was 6 weeks my fiancé found out we pregnant. He said he saw a baby pouch forming when I was 4 weeks lol. And didnt wanna say anything. Cuz He didnt want me to think i thought he thought i was fat. I'm almost 9 weeks with my third... SHOWING. If we didn't have an emergency ultrasound when we did. He thought there were two babies in here. Thankfully just one. I haven't broke out maternity clothes only because I sold or donated all of mine. Because a third baby was not on our list of things to do haha. But I buy and only wear longer shirt/tanks so they suit me just fine. And I still have this one pant cover. Where you unbutton ur pants, fold them In and this stretchy material like on maternity pants turns your pants into maternity pants. I wear that.

I'm getting a bit of a belly but its not the baby yet. I feel the firmess starting above my pubic bone, but no baby bump yet. I have my 12 week ultrasound monday..can't wait! As of now...my jeans are too tight, but my summer cargo capris fit nice n loose. I have stocked up on liquidation maternity stuff for the fall when ill really need it :) I even got some great nursing pj's and tops at a steal of a price! I shop at Thyme in Canada, as we r in Quebec. Can't wait to get Target over here in 2013!!!! They have a good Maternity dept!

I've heard that second babies tend to show alot faster. My sonogram showed that I have alot of excess fluid in my uterus and I'm currently measuring about 5 weeks ahead of how far along I am. So it's very possible that one of those is the case. Good luck. I've been in maturnity clothes for 3 weeks now and I'm only 10 weeks along as of today, lmao.
