For those of you who talk about diaper free, do you really go diaper free? Where do you do it, at home? on an outing? How old are your little ones? How do you get anything done?

I've been ECing with Jude my 10mo old for 6 months now. We typically have 5 good trips to the potty a day with just as many misses. We can't seem to get over this hump. I was thinking taking his diaper off might help but I'm just a little hesitant about it. Plus we don't have any leggings so he might be a bit cold.

I'm looking for any advice or stories you have to share that can help my husband and I get our son progressing again with is EC.

Thanks!

Jennifer

Hey there!
If it's cold where you are, I would definitely recommend baby legs. But you can also just temporarily turn up the heat?

And for true diaper free time, I only do it at home. I bought a Kushies Splash Mat (meant for under high chairs), and lay it out (sometimes with a blanket or towel on top for comfort). It's a good idea when just starting out with EC (Full or Part time) because you can see every time he/she pees and can cue.

I am a part time EC'er simply because we're moving soon and I don't want to stress too much about it on top of everything else going on. But I try to get her naked time at least once a day :)
