Good morning! I'm Jen and I just had my first child on June 19th! she has proven to be my most favorite subject to take pictures of! I am sure you all feel the same about your little ones! I currently use Shutterfly to share my photos and I am making a book of her first 3 months! I was wondering if anyone used other sites and really liked the photobooks? I am a little uncertain if I will like the shutterfly book...

Blurb.com - love it - you can upload to your computer and work on it at home, whever you want. I have used this one several times to make sports photobook for varsity swim teams, have done a few for my kids. I like it becasue you can change the background colors to match what ever your theme is. There are also themes. It is also a company if you want to make an actual book and get it published that way as well. I like doing the photo books. Good luck - good price too.

I use and LOVE Snapfish. I did a little test of my own comparing Snapfish and Shutterfly.
I ordered 2 magnets, one from each company and waited to see how much time it took, the quality, and price. It was a no brainer. Snapfish blew Shutterfly out of the water! It was less expensive, larger, and the picture was BY FAR more superior compared to Shutterfly. Oh, and I received the one from Snapfish 2 days sooner than Shutterfly! You
should definitely try out SNAPFISH. They will not disappoint!

I recently created a photobook for my son for his high school graduation.
I did it on SHUTTERFLY and came out amazing! It was not hard to use and the quality is excellent!
The printed pages are just as they appear on the screen!
Good Luck and have fun taking pictures of your new little one!

#1> BLURB.com (quite expensive! but superb-superb quality)

#2> SHUTTERFLY.com & SNAPFISH.com ( I believe their sister companies)

#3> CLARKCOLOR.com (cheapest of all 'cause they always have promos, without sacrificing quality!)

Blurb.com is a great site. I did my daughter's wedding on it, had hundreds of pictures and it was great. Includes options for borders, comments and different layout patterns.
Thanks for all the other suggestions, I now have a grandson that is going to be 1 year old and I will be getting his first year book together. I will check them all out.

I love my www.featureyourfamily.com it's free unless you want unlimited photo storage, then you can get a premier account for as low as $9.99 a month. The templates are awesome or you can start from scratch. They also have a ton of tutorials and free webinars, so you can get the most out of your digital scrapbooking. If you have any questions please let me know.

I use Creative Memories. You'll need to find a consultant in your area, as they are a direct selling (aka party plan) company. Their books are dearer, but heaps better quality than anything I've seen elsewhere. Their website is www.creativememories.com.au.
Cheers

StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 is just AWESOME! I've been using it since it was first released early last year and it just keeps getting better and better. Heaps of tutorials available. Total flexibility. Ability to create custom sized projects, albums, posters, cards, page prints the works! You can download it online, purchase additional templates etc or just work with the free downloads. The books are hard covered and stitch bound and printed on quality paper. You'll love it! I'm an Aussie girl, you can look at my website and see a few of the pages I've created if you like http://www.mycmsite.com.au/lbaillie

Heritage Makers, Heritage Makers, Heritage Makers! It's the ONLY place I make photo books from now! It's got so many advantages over the other companies listed it's not even funny! To list a (short) few: 1) completely customizable templates or start from scratch 2) more room for journaling 3) WAY better quality books 4) heirloom assurance...I could go on and on. To learn more visit http://www.frommemoriestobooks.blogspot.... (fun blog with great info and links) or http://www.frommemoriestobooks.com (the real website)

The two places I have USED were artscow.com and shutterfly.com... Both were pretty nice but shutterfly was definately the better quality one and had more options and things to do with it.. I have heard of snapfish.com too but I haven't used it!!

Hi Jen, congrats on the new addition to the family!! I have used both shutterfly & snapfish. My fav so far is Snapfish. If you sign up with the different places you will often get emails for discounts on the books. Sometimes they are even free!

I have printed many books though shutterfly. they are wonderful. i looked into the other places that do photoboooks and shutterfly had the most for your buck and i have had consistently great quality. i even took a friends senior pics and did a book for her. we ahve looked at these books over and over for 3+ years now and no problems. i make 1 per year for each of my children (from birthday to birthday) and print 2 copies, this way we have one to look at and one to save. I hoppe this helps. plus with shutterfly wyou can print your photos to target or have them delivered if you want. and there are always deals and coupons if you are willing to look or wait!

The only two companies that I have heard that do photobook printing is artscow.com and shutterfly.com But Shutterfly has a clearer print.
