I have been using the Hallmark software Smilebox. They have lots of free designs if you just want to display at home or email to friends and family, but if you pay for the yearly subscription, you can save and print in jpg format all the pages you create, and you can burn a dvd of each individual scrapbook or photobook layout. You can even save the file of the video if you don't have a dvd burner. I don't work for them or anything, I swear, but they are really terrific for sharing with people who live far away, and I actually can find the time to do it when my daughter sleeps, versus trying to get out the actual scrapbook supplies that have rarely seen the light of day in the 2 years since she was born! LOL

I think you can take them anywhere to print... just don't know how many do square formats... one other post in another discussion group said costco does it fairly cheap, and another online scrapbooking page... I'll look for the link!
