How often do you provide photos for the grandparents? and what are your ideas for sharing with them?

I create little things using Heritage Makers. My favorite is a grandma's little brag book that is a template and you can drag and drop you photos into to make it your own. you can see it here if you would like:

I usually give them the card from my camera to download them on to their computer and then get it back. they usually send me a disc of photos they take occasionally. i don't mind. it doesn't cost anything.

ok...well i dont do all of that like scrapbook stuff.. but my son is 2 yrs old and we go to jcpenney (with grandma) and take pictures every 6 months. she gets her pic of some of the pictures.. i get the rest.. i find its the easiest

Well I make my own greeting cards. I cut out the envolopes and the cards and all on my cricut and then i make it like a greeting card/picture frame with the picture permanatly in there. I know my grandparents and family love getting cards and sitting them up on their fire place or on tables so i just send them random pictures in thinking of you or just because handmade cards.

Love the ideas! I made a calendar for my Mom with Snapfish. Not only does it allow you to put multpile pictures each month as the feature photo, but it allows you to put pictures on individual dates and label them. It's a great way to keep track of family birthdays, you can see they are upcoming from a glance just by the picture on the date. I can't wait until the baby arrives and I can make a calendar with his photos!

I am actually making our own family site that I will upload the pages to and usually they will print them out as they like them.
And the neat thing is that its password protected and they can upload and comment as well.

Since my daughters live in another city I have them send me photos of the babies via cell so that I can see them often. Once I get the pics I download to my removable disc and print the pics I want.

My daughter gave me (Granny Rox) a beautiful photo calendar, with photos of her gorgeous son, tyler,with a photo added for each month and everyday it brings a smile to my face.... she uploaded photos on the net to "snapfish" and had it sent to me through the post. As a newbie Granny I show it to all my friends...its the best idea. I also look forward to checking facebook, to see if new photos are uploaded and in return i am scrapbooking my grandsons life journey.

Every few months ,I take a few good shots that I have taken over the past few months, and take them to walmart (I put them on my memory card) and print them out with borders and send them to the grandparents and godparents. I have also used windows movie maker with songs to create a nice movie of the pictures of my son through the years which is loved. I have also given photo albums slightly filled with room to add more for mother/fathers day. They like that a lot.

I've also made Photo DVDs*~ they do make great gifts. I added some cool looking Fades in between Pictures & also Added a few songs in there that play as you view the Picture slide. I found out what songs the Person likes best & used those. I also Use Picasa3~ to upload my pictures to & I can Edit or change pretty much anything on the Pic.s~ then I can email them to Family ~or Print them out...

I send photos via download sites but I send scrapbook pages via snail mail. Not sure why I do it that way LOL. I try and send as often as I can.
