I want to see some digital scrapbooks!

Just a caveat for anyone considering starting digital scrapbooking - don't pay more than you need to. Paper scrapping is very expensive, and when paper scrappers come over to digital, it's easy to take their money! But truly, your only significant investment needs to be in software, and that should be under $80 - one time purchase. If someone is asking you for a monthly fee, do the math. Printing runs about $2 per 12x12 plus shipping (though my printer has free ship weekends a couple of times a year) and supplies average about $5 per kit - again, a one time purchase you can use over and over.
There are several places where you purchase a membership and must keep it current to have access to your supplies - the problem with this is what happens when life gets in the way and you can't scrap? You're still paying. Whereas if you buy your own software (Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro) and supplies, you're all paid up and no pressure. So be sure to explore all your options.

Here a link to the digital pages I have in a FB album. I use iscrapbook because I have a Mac and CM up until now wasn't compatible with the programs I have of my laptop... of course I love some pages and would redo others, lol... I hope you get some ideas.

p.s some of the image quality is a little low because I uploaded smaller files than I would print. But I print at Costco and it's AMAZING..

But you can also go to a community forum for Stampin Up called My DigitalStudio.net They are devoted to the digital scrapbooking program called My Digital Studio. I am there are a friend, I think hrpilz is my user name. I love MDS and was able to put together a whole year for my family of 3 in a week working 1-2 hours on it each day. I didn't need to print anything, just used it all off my computer! Then I sent it to get printed through Stampin Up, and it looked awesome, bound and printed. I also create a slideshow for my Mom and M-I-L that I put on a CD as a gift for them.
Email me with any questions, I got certified in MDS when it came out so I feel pretty confident with it.

I am a graphic designer and Stampin Up! Demonstrator, and have been frustrated for years with my scrapbooking. After I found Stampin Up, my books got a lot better, but ti still took a while to do a page, and I always stressed over journaling. I went digital last year and I'll never go back for my own use. I still teach traditional though. I use My Digital Studio. http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/scr... It comes fully loaded with stamps sets, paper, emebllishments, punches and so forth. You never run out of anything, and it uses the photos and typefaces on your own computer. Which makes life way easier.

I did a year of my family (3 kids) in a week, which for me was a record! I know I an actually get caught up on the last 10 years of marriage now! I also like that instead of printing, I can share pages online, and in slideshow or movie format through the software. I can also print out the pages but I like getting that bound hardcopy. It is also much lighter in weight than my other books.

It's super easy to use too - drag and click and your done

Check out Smilebox.com you can make scrapbook pages slide shows and postcards. I make pages and e-mail them to friends and family. Some projects are free but if you pay for the service you get some extra options. Enjoy

I haven't done many digi pages yet, let alone a whole book. Well I did use scrapblog.com about a year ago and did 15 layouts (January 2008 thru December 2008) of my son. But now I started using Photoshop Elements 7 and I have done four layouts total. I will be happy to share those with you. But I am new to this message board...do we just post the link in the conversation box...or do I have to upload them to some album on here?!?

I create my pages in Serif Digital scrapbooking program and have published some pages on the 'DaisyTrail website, it easy, free and there are freebies too. The pages are updated everyday and there is a 'special' pick too which is usually displayed in large to all. Good forum and helpful too.
Serif (a basic version) is free to download and many of the kits are too. I have the bought version which does a whole lot more and is heaps of fun.

These were all done with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. People will tell you PS is hard to learn, but that's not so. PSE is very user friendly, and there are LOTS of tutorials, both written and video available to get you going. Do ask if I can help you at all! I love my Shutterfly and Snapfish books and have even gotten several free ones with my Coke Rewards points!

The photobooks and software at that sight are REALLY awesome. I went through some of the stuff last night. The only downfall is the $65 that you have to pay to dl the software. I use shutterfly, which is web based. It is definately not as cool or versitile but, it's free to make the books. I would still love to see your books though! So, if you want to send me an email or PM with the info I'd definately be interested.

I am a CM Consultant, but mostly a personal use consultant.
I put together two annual albums. one for my family (siblings and cousins) and one for my husbands (siblings andcousins) we both have 6 immediate brother and sisters etc.. so I do 2 annual 50 page (100 sides)album which is the max for Creative Memories.. all holidays/birthdays/ monthly calendars with birthdays on them.. I'd be willing to share one with you but you'd have to create your own login for me to share the album with you..
