When I started scrapping, I was told to start with the present year and go from there. That seemed like the easiest thing to do.

I use Photoshop, but have several friends that use various other software for digi scrapping.

I absolutely love digital scrapbooking. I use Creative Memories software. You can pre fill pages if you are in a hurry or create your own. It beats having to lay out a bunch of paper and stickers and takes less time. All you need is a computer and the software. I would start from now and work your way backwards. An ABC album is a great way to start to if you feel overwhelmed. A is for "awesome" or "apples" or "ancestors" that way you can put pictures in any order and not stress about getting everything perfect.
