I gave my camera to my son. But I need a new one. A good one, that doesnt cost alot. Any suggestions?

I have the Canon Rebel T1i and yes its an expensive camera but I got it off craigslist for $650 and I think its completely worth it. I have taken amazing memories with this camera. The only thing between Canon and Nikon is preferance according to the research that I have done. I would go to a website and look at what you want out of your camera.
