I use Photoshop to edit my photos, then I use Scrapblog.com It's really awesome. It has everything you could want to use (backgrounds, stickers, frames, etc), and it's FREE!! Unless you want to use the designer stickers, then I don't know how much those are, but I've stuck to the free stuff, and there's plenty to choose from! And you can also print off your scrapbook when you're done. OR you can just make cards or invitations and email or print those too.

I highly recommend Photoshop Elements.  However, I don't use their Organizer.  I downloaded a free viewer program called FastStone Viewer from c/net and I love it.

Welcome to the world of digiscrapping, it is so much fun and in my opinion so much more inexpensive than the "old fashioned way" which I did for about 12 years.  

I am using Photoshop Elements, it is so much fun and there is a wealth of information online to help you do so many interesting things.  I have done my daughters whole 2nd year and my son's first 6 months on PSE, I have found so many gorgeous and perfect embellishments online for free.  I create my own pages and layouts.  I save my pages til I a good sale and print them out for a $1 a page, or when one of the sites has a bound book sale (I did winkflash last year, a 100 page bound 12x12  book for $60 . . . that's 60 cents a page).   

You can give PSE a try for a month for free at adobe.com.  It's very versatile, I've done invitations, announcements and thank you notes with it also.  As well as editing my photos and printing out collages to frame.

I am a personal publishing consultant with Heritage Makers for four years now and there system allows me to Digital Scrapbook, save my work until i am ready and then they put it in a hard bound book for me. The web-site is all online and there is no softwhere. Also they add Art to their site every month, store your photos for you as well as send out greeting cards. It is Amazing. have been into digital scrapbooking for about 5 years now. It used to be so hard to do. Not many choices, except to become very educated in Photoshop. I went that route and created my own stuff from scratch, but I was getting swallowed up in the time it took me just to create one page (much like paper scrappin). I have been blessed with Heritage Makers for all my digital needs (scrapbook pages, books, cards, etc). I have been digiscrapping for a year now and I will never go back to paper. I scrap using PhotoShop Elements. I started out on something like 2.0 or 3.0 and I recently upgraded to 7.0 and I love it! There are lots of digiscrapping tutorials on the web--I use scrapgirls.com the most as my resource. Welcome to the world of digiscrapping. You're going to love it!

I use Creative Memories Storybook software.  You can make actual bound books or print pages to slide into their albums.  My mom sells the products so I purchased mine through her.  Creative Memories has a website where you could look up information on the software.  It is great!!  Have fun!
