I use Stampin Up!'s program called My Digital Studio, which is designed for both Mac and Windows. I am a graphic designer so I am a Mac girl at heart. I am also a Stampin Up! Demonstrator. I went digital last year when they launched the program and I'll never go back for my own use. I still teach traditional scrapbooking, but I prefer digital. My Digital Studio, http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/scr... comes fully loaded with stamps sets, paper, emebllishments, punches and so forth. You never run out of anything, and it uses the photos and typefaces on your own computer, which makes life way easier.

I did a year of my family (3 kids) in a week, which for me was a record! I know I an actually get caught up on the last 10 years of marriage now! I also like that instead of printing, I can share pages online, and in slideshow or movie format through the software. I can burn cd's and share them with friends and family really easily. I can also print out the pages at home, but I like getting that bound hardcopy. It is also much lighter in weight than my other books.

Check out my blog, and if you like, email me and I will send you more pages. They are under the blog under the custom scrapbook tab, and the main page under the scrapbooking label. Also check out the software link, it is a really cool program. If you have any questions, let me know. After I got the program I got certified on it, and I really love creating all sorts of fun things, cards, blog headers, flyer, and so forth. It really is quite a work horse.

Creative Memories is coming out with a MAC storybook program Nov 1rst. I don't have a MAC, but from all the information I have seen on the things this version will do, I wish I did. If you want any info, email me.

I agree with another person who replied, Heritage Makers Studio is a web based program so you can use it from any computer, anywhere.

Hi I have a Mac and use photoshop elements for mac. It is not specifically for scrapbooking but it is great and you can do so much more than just scrapbook with it. It is also the format most digital designers use.
I believe you can get a 30 day free trial on the adobe website. You can also check out the website www.scrappersguide.com it is for learning to digital scrapbook with PSE and PS

Hi Sara -

I would suggest, before you make a final decision, taking a look at my company, Heritage Makers.  Visit my site  to take a look www.youruniquefamilystories.com

The nice thing about Heritage Makers is that there is no software to download or install on your computer.  The site is both PC and Mac compatible.  Your projects and photos are safely stored on our website.  That way if you happen to get a nasty computer virus, it won't wipe out all your hard work!

Another nice thing is we are partnered with ScrapGirls, which is one of the largest digi art providers out there.  We have over 30,000 pieces of digi art on our website and they add 5-8 new collections every month!

One of my favorite features is our Heirloom Assurance program.  What this means is say you (heaven forbid!) had a fire or flood, or even if your dog got a hold of it - no matter the reason, you could always get another copy of your project for half the price of the original.

Plus, you get one on one support from me, you personal publising consultant.  I will be here every step of the way.  I also teach free online classes to give you new ideas, or just teach the basics if you need.  If you are at all interested in attending a class to see if this is right for you, send me your email address and I will send you a link to next week's class.

All the best,

Brenda Tobler

Creative Memories Storybook Plus software will work if you have the program to allow the Mac to read Windows software (I don't know what that software is called but it lets you use Word, Excel, etc) and then you can use the Creative Memories software. I am a consultant and the company doesn't promote that even though they should. Here is a quote from the company...

"3. Does StoryBook software work on Apple computers?
StoryBook Creator software works only on newer Macs that feature an Intel processor. Intel-equipped machines would need the Mac and Windows operating systems along with a PC emulation software such as . Although these programs do work, they are not an officially supported solution by Creative Memories."
