What stories are hiding in your heart waiting to be shared? Life stories, love stories, funny stories, touching stories...we all have so many different ones. The minute that I held my friend's storybooks in my hands I knew that I had a story to tell. My first son was born 16 weeks too early and only lived for 2 short weeks. The storybook that I created for him is a celebration of his life and includes the only photos that we have of him as well as the whole story. Writing my baby's story was very healing and helped to restore peace in my heart. This storybook will be passed down to my living son and eventually his children.
Project Storybooks for Healing is my personal vision to "Bind Hearts Together" by helping other bereaved families create special storybooks in memory of their loved one. Let's sit together and weave your heritage into storybooks that will last forever. After all, every story deserves a book of its own.
