I have never heard of DigiScrapping. I was a photographer for a couple of years and still never heard of it. Can someone briefly tell me what it is? I no longer am involved with professional photography but I still snap shots here and there and this sounds interesting. I know what scrapbooking is and the idea of no paper and glue sounds cool. But thats all I know of it.

Only the most awesome way to scrap book. I have scrap booked for years and just started digitally scrap booking. I love it and find it hard to complete my other non digital scrap books. I use creative memories software, its called "story book creator plus", and "memory manager". Check it out, it is so easy and so much fun!!! I promise I'm not a consultant, just a huge fan!!!

DigiScrapping is just what the name implies - Scrapbooking Digitally. But there really is more to it than that and as a photographer you would probably love it. You can take a picture make it into the background for a page or do so many fun things with your pictures that you could never do traditionally! And just like traditional scrapbooking, there are so many things out there. I suggest starting with a free program to see if you like it before investing in a program. Creative Memories does have a free program that can be downloaded at www.mycmsite.com/cchaillet. There is also a help section on the site that gives lots of great information and if you find you like it you can upgrade the program to one with more options. If you want to see some layouts made check out my blog at www.scraphappychistine.blogspot.com.

DigiScrapping is digital scrapbooking. It means you do everything on your computer. There are multiple programs you can use to do it and you can leave your pages as digital or have them printed.

I use a program/company called Heritage Makers for my digiscrapping. I LOVE it because it's super simple to use, it's all done ONLINE so you don't have to download a program that's going to gunk up your computer, you can print your pages as individual pages or have them made into a hardbound book, and they archive your projects so if something happens to them you can always get another copy! They have hundreds on COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE templates or you can do your own from scratch. You can check it out at http://www.frommemoriestobooks.com or http://www.frommemoriestobooks.blogspot....
