Me and my husband want to start taking our own pictures of our son but want to have the best quality possible to look professional. Any suggestions on a camera?

I would suggest a DSLR camera. I love my Nikon D5000. A good camera and some free, online tutorials on YouTube, you can take some pretty darn good pictures. Cannon is also a good brand choice for a dslr.
