Where can I print 8x8 and 12x12 layouts?

[deleted account] ( 54 moms have responded )

I looked on Shutterfly and on snapfish. Neither one offers 12x12 or 8x8 that I can see. Where do you all print? I just finished my first project and need to have the pages delivered by this Thursday! Help!

Do you have a Costco membership?  I love their photo center! Their 1-hour photo department does both 8x8 ($1.49) and 12x12 ($2.99)

You can upload via their website, and pick up at your local Costco.

I prefer the matte finish... and all my layouts are 300dpi.  They look great! :)

I know it's been a while since this has posted... but if you are local or don't mind shipping your scrapbook .... www.harborscrapbooking.com scans paper scrapbooks with archival inks and paper, can resize any scrapbook for gifts. She can also print any size of your digital scrapbooks. Even will just scan and copy to a DVD for protecting your memories.

When you do an 8x8 does it crop the page and cut anything off? I'm new to this.

If you want to print your layouts go to COSTCO...$1.49 for 8x8 and $2.99 for 12x12 pages.
Artscow also has really cheap photobooks...theses are great if you have a vacation or some kind of event you want to scrap...and when you sign up with their site you get a ton of freebies...only catch...and I learned by trial and error...you need to convert your files to CMYK color mode before uploading to their site...or your colors will not print so great! And you can get a lot of great ideas in their photobook gallery...I have several books posted there!!

I live in Canada. I print my 8x8s at Walmart as 8x10 then cut off the extra 2". For 12x12, I use Viovio.com. You have to order at least 24 pages at a time, but they're less that $1/page.

I have heard that Cosco does those sizes, but I ordered mine online for a very very reasonable price at scrapbooksplease.com. They did a very good job.

I sell the CM products and you can also go to my website and download free software and tons of pre-designed pages

I am in Canada, and Don't have a Costco Card ( or a credit card) ...besides, canada doesn't offer 12X12 (at Costco)... :( and I can't use a online printshop, because of the no credit card thing :(

I've been digiscrapping for about two years now.  I bought a mid-grade printer (Epson Stylus CX6000) on E-bay for about $60.00.  I buy the Kodak premium 8x10 photo paper and print all my layouts on my printer.  All I do is 8x8.  It saves storage space on my computer and I can print everything at home.  You can get reasonably priced ink on E-bay as well.

Quoting Beverly:

My favorite is Costco. Great prices and quality.

I started out with Costco prints, but I was very unhappy with the Costco (in San Bernardino, CA).  They were very dark and the paper was flimsy.  I am spoiled with luxurious, quality prints since I joined Heritage Makers!

Costco prints 12x12 and 8x8.  On Shutterfly there is a 16x20 that if you can arrange a page right the 16x20 will give you one 12x12, two 8x8 and two 4x6.  I know it's cutting it very close, but it can be done.  The 20x30 print with the right arrangement can give you two 12x12, three 8x8 and five 4x6.

Costco has an awesome best photo dept. The techs working there are trained better than most of the other 1-hour photo depts. The prices are the best in town.
