I finished an album with Digital Scrapbook Artist and I am thinking of printing it into a bound harcover book instead of individual pages. Any recommmendations on where to have it printed and bound?

Hi Anne,

Feel free to try out my web site, and learn about it at www.sendoutcards.com/5205, we also will be able to create books and calendars soon! I'm so excited about it!

Walmart can do it for you just check their file types that they accept. Otherwise you will have to save it under a jpeg file

Hi Anne,
You can scan the pages and save them to a jpeg or png format and upload to www.storybookjourney.com - open a free account - and publish with a company who offers heirloom quality assurance - printing as many copies as you wish - library bound - high quality printing. You can email me directly if you have any questions at aroddel@frontiernet.net. Thanks :)

I use CreativeMemories.com. I love that website and I even have the program downloaded to my laptop!

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I decided not to go with the hard bound book, and printed the pages individually to be put into an album. I was in a time crunch for a birthday and didn't have the time to have it bound. For my next one, I might give it a try. Thanks again everyone!

As a Heritage makers consultant I have access to scanning scrapbook pages and publishing them into hardbound storybooks. What size are your pages, how many do you have. Send me an email and I will answer all of your questions. stmartin67@cox.net my website is www.fotocreations4you.com

Costco has the best prices by far! If you are a member check them out before you order from anywhere else!

Thanks for the input re: ArtsCow shipping time. I think it took 3 weeks because it is around Christmas. Their forum posts indicate that 10 days is typical. Also, note that it takes 10 or so days for snapfish.com or others to get a book to you (production + shipping time) - check the fine print, cuz you DO pay more for fast shipping from any vendor! Thanks for the info - good to know!

I just received my first artscow book, the price was reasonable. It's stitch-bound and I am extremely happy with the quality, I will say it did take quite a while to receive the book. Since they are located in Hong Kong it took about 3 weeks to receive my book, also I had to use Paypal. Neither were an issue for me, but I know for others it may be a concern.

I am thinking of giving viovio.com a try next time, they have even better prices and have heard good things about them.

Several sites to evaluate yourself that I have heard are good:

artscow.com (VERY reasonable - check forum for recommendations - all folks seem to be very happy)

blurb.com - decent prices, but even moreso - SO professional! you download their software, then work on the book at your leisure (or use your choice of publishing programs and upload to them) - LOTS of pros use and help on the forums

I have had single scrapbooking pages printed very professionally and cheaply at Scrapbooks to Share (I think it is sbtoshare.com??)

of course, most commercial sites will let you upload your pages:

snapfish.com seems to be the best quality prints, and SmugMug is awesome quality but pricier

divinedigital.com & scrapgirls.com - digi scrappers and hybrid scrappers (print some pages digitally and do some "by hand"); sign up free to use their forum, get freebies, etc. ; forum members recommend products and services

hope this helps!
