I know it's very early in the pregnancy stages, we just took our home test today and got a positive result. But i'm curious if anyone else who is only a few weeks a long has been to the doctor yet? Or are you in the beginning stages like me?

I'm about eight weeks and haven't gone to the doctor yet. I'm planning on making an appointment soon though. I just hate going to the doctor so I've been putting it off for a while. I remember going around 8 weeks with my first so I don't think its a rush yet.

I have an appt. but it's not until the 29th of Sept! Her office said she doesn't see patients until the 12th week. I know this isn't unheard of but it's made me just a little nervous. With my other pregs, I saw someone by the 8th week.

I am going to my first visit Aug 27th. I actually had an appt for that date set before the BFP. I wanted to go get checked out before I got pregnant and honestly did not assume our first time trying would work! Should have known, worked that way with the other 2 pregnancies :o)

I had my first ultrasound at the hospital at exactly 6 weeks because I had HORRIBLE cramping. I go back Wed for a rescan because I had subchorionic bleeding but my orientation and first ultrasound is the 30th. The military won't see me until 10 weeks unless there is an issue.

I have already been to the doctor. Had the ultrasound and was 5 weeks and 1 day. Of course with the ultrasound there wasn't a whole lot to see. I go back on September 15 for my next visit. I will be 11 weeks then.

I will be going in on the 10th of Sept. That way my mom can go with my since my husband can not. I will be 9 weeks. I too am considered high risk due to Lyndon's early arrival. My dr doesnt see anyone before 12 weeks. I could have come in sooner, but this way mom is with me :)

We'll be going in on Sept 1st. I had a missed miscarriage before Xander at about 6wks (found out at 10wks) and heavy spotting with Xander at 7wks. So I've decided to wait until then to go the the dr about this little bundle. Then we'll have an ultrasound the following week for an official EDD.

I've known for 2 weeks now, but my first appointment will not be until August 31. Doctors want to wait until around 7 weeks or later, so they can see that heartbeat on the early ultrasound. I called right away, because I am considered "high risk" due to the many complications I had with my last pregnancy. My doctor said he *would* see me early if I wanted because he will be monitoring my pregnancy and the baby's development very closely, but it is not necessary for me to come in this early. There is little they can *do* right now anyway. I didnt want to go in and have an early ultrasound that would not detect a heartbeat - more worrying than I need! (my firstborn was born with a congenital heart defect) - so I decided to not go to the OB until the end of this month, when I am just about 8 weeks.

I'll be going on Aug. 30 at 8 weeks since I've have multiple losses in the past. Normally, she has people wait until 10 weeks. I've had bloodwork done and everything looks good. I think she'll do an ultrasound when I go in. With my daughter, they did u/s every other week until my second trimester.

I got the positive home test on the 2nd, and saw my doc for confirmation on the 4th. 10 week appt is scheduled for Sept. 17th. Assuming appts will be very by the book, since I had a very easy and normal pregnancy with my son, who is only 10 months old.

I went to the doctor today, and I go again on Monday. They are doing blood tests so we can get a range of how far along I am, and if Im far enough we will do an ultrasound!

My first appt is august 30th. Feels like such a long time to wait! On the plus side I will get an ultrasound next week sometime to date the pregnancy.

Im in the early days as well. We're working on sharing the news with our families this week. However, I did already call my doctor and make my first appointment. They wanted me in around the 8 week mark, so I go in August 23rd.
