How does the baby movements feel?

I'm 20 weeks into in my first pregnancy and my little girl is quite a mover. she likes rock'n'roll on the radio and flip flops a lot to the music. In the morning and when I get off my feet at the end of the day I feel more painful jabs like she's stretching out in there, but even though they hurt at least half the time, I like feeling them because they let me know she's doing OK in there. Every now and then she does some smaller movements that actually tickle me and make me laugh out loud- those are the best.

This is my first pregnancy too and for weeks I was thinking I could feel her kick and move cause it felt like a painful poking or something. But then I actually did feel a kick and you'll just know. It was the most amazing feeling. To me, it felt like butterflies in my tummy fluttering or something lol. I think you'll just know when it happens, I didn't start really feeling it until I was at 20-21 weeks.

I've wondered too! But i've been told it always feels a little different for everyone. A little while ago I felt like a bubble popped on my right side and the tech at the ultrasound told me that would be my little man kicking. It's progressed to feeling like I'm getting poked from the inside out, it's really cute!

For my first baby, at the start, it just felt like gas movements in my lower belly. Then they would slowly get a little stronger and almost tickle, really low in my belly.
With this pregnancy it's now starting to feel like little mini pokes, and sometimes at night I can feel what appears to be him/her flipping around.
It's so cute, I try to imagine what he/she is doing in there :-)
