Hi, Just wanted to get some advice for some of the other ladies here.



I'm 28 and have 3 kids (Son 8 yr, Daughter 4yr, and another daughter 1yr) I don't want to have any more children. I am happy with the three that my husband and I have. Now, I am looking for something that is permanent to prevent me from getting pregnant again. I am not really good at remembering to take the "Pill" so, is it not really a good opinion for me. Anyone use/ have done any Permanent birth control that was successful? I live in Canada.

The only 100% sure way to birth control is to have your tubes tied. Your husband can have a vasectomy but he will have to be tested every 5 years because in some bizzare occasions the tubes fuse together again.

This is quite a big op for a woman so consider it before taking the plunge. Another not so invasive way is to have the norplant. These are placed under the skin in the upper arm. Some last for three years and others 5 years.
