Hi, I currently have a 15 month old daughter who will be lucky enough to have a sibling in April so she will be 20 months old - at the moment I have a standard single seat stroller, I was wondering if there were any other mum's out there who are expecting their second baby and your thoughts on double strollers or just using one of those pram skateboard things? or if you know of anyone who used a pram skateboard and how old their child was? I'm so lost with this and not sure if i should get a double stroller or not? my daughter currently uses the stroller, but she would rather be out of it...which is why I am leaning more towards the pram skateboard. suggestions anyone..???? thanks :)

There's 14mths between my 1st two boys but I didn't buy a double buggy. Because of my 1st sons young age I did buy a second stroller and stroller clips so I could clip both buggies together like a double. This time round my son will have just turned 2 when the new baby arrives and as hes such a great lil walker already I'm not gona bother with a second buggy and I have a baby sling I can carry the baby in.

My daughter will be 16 months old when this lil bubba arrives and ive been looking into the whole pram sit too. The side by side prams to me look to big and awkard if you want to do things in town, even getting through doors i can see being a problem. I think my daughter will still be to young to be expected to stand on one of those skate board thingies and i feel the same about the toddler seat attachments you can get for most single prams, I dont see why she should be uncomfortable just because she has to share. If she needs to nap in one of those it just wont happen. I looked at the phil and ted ones with the seccond seat at the back behind but I dont think theyre very nice either, I know the younger one goes in it but what happens when theyre bigger. They can reach their hand into the wheel and you'll be kicking them with your knees as you walk. The two best designs ive seen are the city select jogger which has up to 18 combinations, you can have two full sized seats or just one with a bassinet or with a capsule whilst its still as wide as a normal pram. And a cheaper version of the two full size seats but not adjustable. Here are some links I hope they help... http://www.babyuniverse.co.nz/product/ba... and http://www.babycity.co.nz/bootiq-ruby-du...
