Coloring your hair won't hurt the baby but it may hurt the look that you are going for!! Because of your hormones while you are pregnant hair color may come out different if you color while you are expecting!! I would wait til after the baby is born!!!

thank you, it seems ok but my hair is now starting to fall out but not loads just hear and there my midwife said that hair does fall out when pregnant tho xxx

Just so you all know it's not the chemicals affecting the baby that makes it an iffy thing to do. It's just your hormones are out of whack so there's a chance you won't react well with the chemicals. For example, my sister got a perm when she was pregnant, of course stronger chemicals than color, but it made her hair start falling out. Just things like that can happen but it's not anything to really worry about I don't think it happens too often.

My doctor told me it is fine to color your hair after the first trimester. There actually aren't any studies confirming that dying your hair is dangerous even during the first trimester, but just to be on the safe side my dr. recommends waiting. With my daughter I got both highlights and coloring done and she is 100% fine. :)

I was in cosmetology school when I was pregnant with my son..I was constantly surrounded by chemicals and he is just fine. My doctor told me that hairdressers work while pregnant all the time so I don't think coloring your hair once in a while could be harmful. If you're concerned check with your doctor and find out his/her opinion on it. However, I personally do not color my hair while pregnant. I cannot tolerate the smell being so close to my face for that long.

it doesnt do anything i died my hair with my first and with this one and both are doing fine the lady who did my hair told me it wont do anything to them
