Any other teen moms that had babies this past august??

I'm 17 and my son will be 1 on august 25th.I lost a lot of friends and I found out there were a lot of people I didn't even know that "hated" me. But I realized that dwelling on that was causing unnecessary stress on my unborn baby so I just let go of it and started making friends with the other girls I knew that were moms. Some were 16 some were 30 but we all had a common ground. It didn't take long for me to forget about all those snotty kids back at school.

I understand how you are feeling. I had my daughter on August 16, 2010. :) She's been the best thing that's ever happened to me. But, I've pretty much lost all of my friends and it's kinda sad. Teen mom life is harder than everyone thinks. You lose and gain alot. And we can be just as good a mother as anyone else! :)

I understand your pain. My son was born August 24th when I was 20. I got pregnant when I was 19. People have no idea whats ging on in your life and judge for no reason. I own a new van, we own a nice house and we have been engaged for a while. We also planned the pregnancy. So i just ignore them and go whatever. They arent worth your time!

i am 17 and i had a baby boy on august 9th/2010. i have lost most of my friends, i only have 3 friends left and there also teen moms themselfs as well.

My son was borAugust, 2010. He was my second child, but I know what you men, I lost many of my friends with childbirth, but its their loss. Life with children is more fulfilling anyhow

hey, im 20 and know exactly how you feel, i have 3 babies i had my first boy in augest 2006 when i was 15 so lot lot of my friends then, and then my daughter in march 2008 and my yougest lil boy in augest 2010 so if you ever want to chat about anything, im here :)

I'm 18 and my daughter was born on august 5th. I understand where you're coming from. Most of my friends are too busy with their party life to visit me and Echo (my dd), and my fiance works and goes to college so it gets pretty lonely.
Echo is 6 months old, and yet my friends still invite me to their parties and weekend trips. They ask me why I don't just ask my mom to babysit, which I think is ridiculous.. it's good to get time for yourself once in awhile but motherhood is not a part-time job.

I am 21 and my son was born on Aug 18. I have kept a couple of my friends, but it is very hard because they are always wanting to go out to bars and that is just not what is important to me anymore.

Im not considered a "teen" mom, since I am 21. But, I do have some of the same issues that you do; only difference is that I can legally buy alcohol... I have lost all of my friends, and I currently am a stay at home mom... I live in a college town, so everyone my age doesnt understand that I cant just go out and get drunk every day and night... In a few years, they might be more "party" experienced, and wont know what to do when they have their first kid... And, in the same amount of time, people like you and I will have life-experience... and those same people will be coming to us asking what they should do...

Hi! I'm 19, I had my baby in August 2010 when I was 18. I did loose a lot of friends like you, since they're doing the college party life, I'm at home being mommy. :)

My daughter was born on the 19th. Only 8 days apart :)

Hello. yes i am 19 and had my baby girl on 1 Aughust 2010. I have seemed to have lost a few friends with not gwtting inited to places etc etc anymore. however my partner and i are over the moon and really enjoying our baby girl!!
