confused about my due date plz read

Your baby will arrive when he/she is ready some babies come before 40 weeks and some after 40 weeks

Laura almost every pregnancy the child is never born on the due date. My first I had a three week long due date as they could not figure it out. She came two days after the end of the three weeks on July 9th. My second I was due August 4th he came on July 27th. My third I was due on October 24th and he came on October 28th. Now I am due with my fourth on August 17th. My only request to my little one is that she wait at least until then. July is way to busy for birthdays in our family with 10 of them. I also would like to have as much time between each of my three summer babies as possible. I do know though that my due date has very little impact on the actual date she will be born. Good Luck and just be ready to go to the hospital as it is not too soon already and it could take up until they choose to induce you if your little one wants to hang around awhile. :)

i was 5 days over with my last 2 pregnancys but 1 day before my own calculation so your probably nearer with your own as you know your body and cycle best but i wouldnt worry about it too much as they say any time 2 weeks on either side is fine good luck with everything x

My due date is Sept 1st, but I'm having a c section on the 23rd. I just had another ultrasound and the baby is 2 weeks ahead of schedule. She's only supposed to be 3 lbs., but she's 4 lbs. 10 oz.! That's a big difference! I think i'll have to have her around the 13th b/c she'll be too big on the 23rd!

Don't worry so much! When ur baby's ready and ur body is ready you'll deliver. My last baby was 4 1/2 weeks early b/c my fluid was gone. He was 4lbs. 9oz. but his lungs were already delveloped and he was nursing 3 hours after delivery!

the one that they gave you last. they measure the baby to see how far along it is. they have given me three different due dates but than they always tell me they are going to keep it at Aug. 31. I have been told the 24, and 27 also of August but they tell me they are keeping the 31st the official one.

Ask you dr what due date they are going by. I have never gotten the same due date twice this is my 3rd pregnancy. I finally gave up and asked the dr what date are you going by and he told me. My due dates have been August 10, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 22 and after that i quit asking what date the ultra sound sayas....My dr is going by august 22nd but i'm having a scheduled c section.

happened to me too, according to my doctor, im due august 28th, but according to my last period AND the ultrasound size of the baby, im due the 23rd, im just going with the 23rd because that seems more accurate to me, but thats just me =]

when they do your initial scans, the earlier ones tend to be the more accurate ones (from what I understand) the most accurate being around or before 12 weeks. But you also have a lot of leeway with your due date... They moved my due date with my oldest 3 times and they still weren't right.. lol.. I would try to go by your cycle (which will probably be the closest) or you may be like me and have issues with irregular menstrual cycles, in which case just let the doc figure it out.. even a due date that is well calculated is still just an estimated time frame.
