I feed my 8 month old breakfast, lunch & dinner aswell as breast feeding on demand which is still about every three hours. She is still on pureed foods Just wondering if i should be offering morning and afternoon tea of some form aswell? She also won't drink water but i think it's just a matter of finding the right sort of cup/bottle that she will drink from. How much food do your bubs eat & drink?

My nearly 10 month old has 1 and a half weetbix/ vitabrits with milk and fruit for breakie at 7.30am followed by water and a bit later some formula. Lunch is at 12pm and is some fruit (half a banana or apple puree or peach pieces etc..) and half a sandwich and a couple of cheese sticks (she feeds herself these) followed by some water and formula a bit later. Afternoon tea is at about 3.30-4pm and is half a cup of yoghurt and maybe a biscuit, and then dinner is at 5.30pm and is whatever the rest of us have. Could be pasta (spag bol or ravioli), rice, tuna casserole, meat and 3 veg etc... After dinner is some water and then some formula about 6.30pm before bed at 7pm. She loves her water out of a cup with a straw in the lid and also has her formula from this cup too. She liked this cup so much she actually refused to breastfeed any more and just wanted to use the cup so I expressed into the cup for a while but have stopped that now. She can suck down 100ml from that cup in no time flat. I would never give my baby juice, water is better.

My little girl is almost 10m and she has been on breakfast, lunch and dinner for months now as well as bottles of milk inbetween. If you are puree(ing) the food yourself perhaps now try not to puree it smooth leave a few lumps so she gets used to them, other than rice cakes or baby biscuits inbetween meals and of course milk I wouldn't worry about morning/afternoon tea, sounds like she is getting enough, does she drink juice or just breast milk? perhaps try her with a tiny bit of juice in water or buy baby juice and hopefully that will help. Other than that it sounds like you are doing a good job so wouldn't worry.
