I am adopting a little boy born in August 2010 from Ethiopia. He will be coming home this summer and I am looking for toy recommendations. What are your 21 month old's favorite toys?

Congratulations! How exciting for you. Our little girl is now two and loves books more than any toy she owns. Besides those, wooden puzzles, puppets, stacking blocks, balls, Duplo, and matching games are high on her list. Check out Green Toys and Melissa & Doug, two of our favourite toy brands. :)

Congratulations.....................My daughter loves her board books best...Other than that she loves stuffed doll, shape sorter, stacking toys(Tolo shape sorters are good, the pieces are small rattles by themselves), trains and cars, bubbles, kitchen set but more than toys now she enjoys going out to the park and pointing to things and naming them....She also enjoys when i sing nursery rhymes to her and she does the actions....But since every child is different i would suggest you take him to the shop and see which toy he picks....
