i found that when i had my 13 yr old son the boys clothes were, on the whole, pretty hideous. but i LOVE what i'm finding now. such a massive improvement. i've really enjoyed the clothes shopping.

Oh I see! I haven't experienced girls but so far my boy has been the best!! He is very easygoing! Most of my friends who have teenagers tell me the same things about those hard years, so patience!! I know I will ride that train soon but for now I will enjoy what's left of his innocent years :) and well, start all over with this one on the way! Good luck with everything!!

Thanks for the suggestions... i will just look a bit harder....i live in northern washington state ....not much unless i head south towards seattle. im just not a big fan of all the huge animal etc prints on shirts etc. cant wait till he is big enough for osh kosh kids. The childrens place is one of my favorite places to shop for my 11 month old daughter so im sure i will be a fan of the boys line also. i havent checked out the gap...we only have an outlet store here not much of a selection...yet another time to shop online! As for boy experience...i have a 17 year old boy and a 12 year old daughter...experienced both...but its been awhile :)! Thank for the reminder though...i may have forgotten that one! LOL! I think my oldest peed on the wall a couple of times! Congrats on your bundle of blue...they do say boys are easier...although my daughters are completely different...one is drama (oldest) and the youngest is real easy...my 17 yr old was such a sweet little guy until teenage years and now is trying my patience everyday. So it goes either way i guess.

Hey Debbie! This will be my second boy and I truly enjoy buying the baby boy clothes!! They do make amazing baby boy clothes, you just have to look a little harder than the girls!! People always told me how great I dressed my first son and I'm already searching for cute boy clothes for this one because i donated all my first boy's clothes they will be 8 years apart. Gap has a great line right now!! Children's place is where I find most of the cute clothes!!! I don't know what state you live in but you can also browse it online! You'll fall in love with the baby boy's line!! Congrats on that baby boy! It's a WHOLE different experience!! oh! and watch it when changing the diaper!!! They do pee on your face LOL!!! JK!!!

Wow that is early....I had to wait till i was just about 20 weeks for my ultrasound.....a boy...they told us 3x! I did notice the difference between the parts..didnt look anything like my daughters...no 3 lines. It took us a bit to get used to...we have an 11 month old beautiful little girl and would have enjoyed having another (have everything possible for a little girl) but a boy is great too. We both have older children so have had to start over....now again since putting a boy in all pink isnt that cool! :) Im having a 3d/4d ultrasound at 29 weeks. We will get a better pic of what this lil mister looks like. Congrats to all the moms out there! BTW baby boy is due Aug 30th.
Does anyone else feel like they make boy clothes ugly? Im having such a hard time shopping for him.

22 weeks and had my ultrasound last week. had to wait til we hit 20 weeks because the new rules in my area are you can't find out until then and you can only find out at private clinics. government run places can no longer tell you. (such a silly rule). tech looked for us and said he saw a 'twig and berries' LOL. we saw it too, definitely a boy! I already have a boy (13 today) and 2 girls (11 and 20 months).

That is awesome that you were able to find out so early. I hated waiting. When I was 19 wks we found out we were having a baby boy. I am about to be 23 wks and this boy is very active. Almost driving me crazy. Good luck everyone!

I am due with my second on August 27th. We found out on April 7th that we are having another boy! I was hoping for a boy as I already have the clothes stashed away, have to save the money wherever possible. Congratulations girl, that def was an early discovery!! I'm 22 weeks and found out 4 weeks ago that we're having our first boy. Having another unltrasound today so I get to see him again! I have a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old both girls, so having this boy is so exciting, especially for my husband lol. Baby Zachary!!

Congrats!! I found out around that time with my daughter too. I thought it was too early but when they go into the right position for you - it doesn't really leave room for mistake (even more so with a boy I'm sure).
I just found out last week at my 18wk ultrasound that I'm having a boy too! We're all really excited - it will be a new experience for me & my family because we have always just had girls around. I can't wait!!

We found out today that our little one is a boy! We have a 2 year old daughter, so we're really excited (although, we would have been just as excited for another girl). I can't even begin to imagine how different it's going to be! Congrats to all you, Mamas!

Hey there chickas!! I was 17wks & a couple of days when I found out I was having a babyboy me and my hubby was sooo happy. God told him we was having a boy and now God told him our lil babyboy is due August 4th so hopefully he will be born on that day I know he will because I believe in God.

I had an ultrasound at 14 weeks (measuring 13w 4d) and they told me its a girl! I'm very excited :)

I know!!! That's why i was in shock!! I still have to confirm it with the 20week ultrasound but there was definitely a third leg!!! Lol!!!

Congratulations!!

I'm 15 weeks, 3 days and i will have my Ultrasound done by the end of the month so hopefully we will see then what we're having. I can not wait to find out!
