So this is not something I like to talk about because it really bothers me, but do you guys still have a tummy? I lost almost all of my weight. I have about three to four pounds to lose until I am at my pre-preggo days. I fit into my old jeans but my stomach just hangs over them when I sit . Will this ever go away????

i have abdominal separation too! I can fit 2 fingers in my belly button and one finger 2 inches above. I can also feel my intestines move. Is it safe to do crunches when its only 2 fingers?

I am 5 mos PP with my second. It went away after my first, but doesn't seem like it's going to with my second. I can't just exercise it away because I have diastasis recti and many common ab exercises will make it worse

I did have a c-section because after 3 hours of pushing the little bugger wouldn't budge. I also had gained about 45 pounds during the pregnancy. I had a difficult pregnancy and recovery period. And to make my life harder I have a bit of muscle separation so I am trying to do some ab exercises when I can to bring them back to normal. Plus I walk a ton because we don't have a car. I am hoping it trims down in time for the summer. fingers crossed! Thanks for the advice

Careful about exercising too much too soon after the baby is born - I tried it and wore myself out then ended up with mastitis.

I'm planning on having a tummy tuck when I'm done having kids. Then again I never had a nice tummy to begin with.

Your stomach muscle have streched out and they get looser with each kid. You have to train them back to where they were before. Lots of stomach exercises should do as long they weren't too damaged during pregnancy. If you've had a c section it may take longer because of scar tissue.

I lost mine completely after the first, but the second is harder. Even though I am back to my pre-baby weight, it is still there.

As soon as my husband and i decided that we weren't going to have anymore kids after our second, i exercised my butt off. I didn't gain much weight while pregnant both times so i didn't have much to lose afterwards but i did have a tummy. Ugh. I hated it. I did sit ups everyday and now my tummy is pretty much flat.

The only way it will go away is if you exercise. Don't worry to much about it though. :)
