Hello Moms!

I have a question, more like advice that I am looking for...

I am a stay at home mom to two young boys and am looking to re-enter the workforce in this headache of an economy. I keep running into road blocks because I took time off...Three years ago I was pregnant with twin daughters that I found out to be triplets on the day that I was told they no longer thrived. I lost them at six months and had to give birth and bury them. I quit my job as a result because I was emotionally and psychologically not ready for anything. I already had a nursery and everything; a mental picture of my little girls with dark brown curls... As a result of losing them I stayed home and went back to finish my master's in criminology and eventually opened up a small online gourmet dessert line. I am looking to go back to work and I am running into a wall everywhere and am in need of some major advice.

Thanks!!

Hi Aileen
Firstly I must convey my condolences to you for your loss. I know the emotional turmoil you're in as I also had a miscarriage, though not for triplets. You have to try to be strong for your boys' sake, they need you and your love. As difficult as it is, you need to hold your head up and fight the pain and memories that are bringing you down. I am sure that you would not want your boys to think that you are an emotional wreck. And you need to pray honey, pray to the good Lord and ask himm for guidance, to help you overcome these feelings of helplessness. Many people think that God does not hear our prayers and answer them, they are wrong. He does and He will make everything alright. You just need to put your Faith and Trust in Him.

As far as work is concerned, you should try to do something you are good at. Be your own boss, its the best way and you will also be flexible in that you get to pick your hours of work and play. It is very difficult to find a steady job these days, patience is a virtue and its true when they say that "all good things come to those who wait"

All the best my dear. I will pray for you everyday and hope that things get better *bighugs*
