I saw such things at Babies R Us when I went to register I am 24 weeks and have a very active Boy in there So you heard the Heartbeat and lots of Kicks thats fab. I am thinking of getting one Too thanks for Testing it out for us other Pregos

was going to get the summer infant one, but babies r us was out so i went with a similar graco one. says it's recommended more for the final trimester and i'm close, but not quite there yet. i'm sure it'll take practice and patience (and quiet which is hard to come by in my house). so far i've heard the kicks and shifting, no heartbeat yet. but i'll keep trying.

I make sure the strap is quite tight and i'm laying down with just my head and shoulders elevate. Can you hear the thumps when baby is kicking? They make me giggle. In fact, i might just try and have a listen now lol xx

oh my does it ever frustrate , all i here is this what sounds like moving around. but im so un sure if thats what the sound is. i dont know :(

Just keep trying hun. It takes me ages to find the heartbeat sometimes but i'm just as happy to listen to him/her kicking around lol. It may still take a while because you're only 13 weeks but eventually you'll find it and it will frustrate you everytime you can't find it lol xx

Hi Stephanie,
I really wouldn't be worried that you can't hear anything. I still can't find the heart beat every time i listen to it and i'm 20 weeks today. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you hear something soon hun and congratulations on your pregnancy xx

So i got the Summer prenatal listening systems as well im 13 weeks. i have only heart a lot of sound like moving but nothing to a heart beat a kick or a hiccup. it says to wait till your 21 weeks. i really hope to hear something soon these things aren't cheap so ... i was actually worried cause i do have problems with my pregnancy and when i couldn't hear anything i was a bit worried :P

I didn't have as much luck with mine. It says wait til 28 weeks on the box and Im only 19 weeks. There is soooo much static and if you breath too deep, it makes the bands move and thats all you hear. The baby was moving around, kicking it and I still couldn't tell what was what because of all the noise it makes. Hopefully once Im further along and my belly is bigger, it will be easier to here. I could barely hear my own heartbeat :(

Where did you get it and how much does it cost? I was thinking of having one for the first part of my labor while I stay at home as long as I can.

Hi Nicole,

It's called Summer Prenatal Listening System and it's great. It says you probably won't hear anything before 21 weeks or later but i turned 18 weeks yesterday and we heard it a few days before! See if you can persuade him lol xx

Thats awesome! I had bought something similiar with my other two...it was called Bebe Sounds. But I couldn't hear anything...even when I was pretty far along. So, I doubt my husband would want me to buy another :) What is the name of it? The brand is Summer? THanks for the info!
