I think that my tummy grew exponentially over the last few days... I am even walking slower... lol.

OMG! Amanda, I know what you mean! I have clients at my work that I have only met once or twice who touch my stomach!!!! Its like once you are pregnant, people have no respect for personal - and PHYSICAL - boundaries! So obnoxious! Luckily I haven't had strangers try to touch me.... Besides, what makes it worse, is that when women are pregnant, our tummys become super sensitive!!!!

i wish i could install small sharp pins in my clothes when i go out sometimes. Tired of people touching the belly. A nice sharp jab would serve em right! LOL.

Back to sharing random thoughts.... Why can't my husband read my mind? Lol.... My mind is all over the place these days - hormones, drat! - and there is the pregnant part of me that expects him to understand my logic... lol. Poor guy! He's gonna need a vacation! Never mind me....

i'm fortunate in that the little township i live in has an over abundance of thrift stores and one really good consignment store. i've managed to stock up on summer maternity wear at very little cost.

Aww Geralyn, that is so cute! My belly button has popped out and Thomas keeps trying to feed baby through it lol.
I've been really, seriously lucky because i lost weight when i was pregnant with Thomas. I weighed myself at 8 weeks pregnant and then at 37 weeks and i'd lost a stone!! I put it all back on again within about 3 months of having him even though i was breastfeeding!! I'm losing weight again this time (not as concerned as i was last time though because i know that's just how it goes for me whereas last time i thought there was a problem) but really hope i can try and keep it off this time. We'll see.
I think it's great that these celebs are proud of their bumps and don't feel the need to go into hiding as soon as they start showing. But i just wish that there could be some photos in the news of them not looking 100% perfect to make the rest of us feel better LOL xx

That is awesome that Danielle and people like her are confident and proud to bare their big bumps and not feel ashamed.... She does look stunning in her photos... even at the end.... Most of the models and actresses, blah, blah, blah, would have had their photos totally air brushed and cropped. I remember hearing about Giselle that she only put on 15 lbs or something, and could were her "regular" modelish clothes almost up to the end... First, why the heck is that so newsworthy that the tabloids, and she herself, would want the rest of us to know.... and Second, who gives a crap?!?

But yeah, then there is the average person who looks like a frittata.... I am not obsessed with losing the baby weight (obviously, because it took me a while with my first, and then things never really went fully back to their original locations. lol....). Being pregnant and becoming a mom makes it so worth it.... And our kids love us as we are.... My son thought it was so funny that my belly button was so stretched out (caused by his pregnancy), he liked to stick his finger in there.... lol.... Now he learned the word pop, and he keeps saying "baby pop" I think he thinks the belly button is the baby!!!!

OMG, you have no idea!! In the paper we have Danielle Lloyd who is very pregnant and very stylish. Then there's Dannii Minogue - just had her baby actually - but looked perfect throughout her pregnancy. It seems the news and papers are covered in pregnant celebs who look great and then there is us!! I kept my maternity jeans from last time just so that i could wear them to cover my tummy on 'fat' days lol. I'm finding maternity wear really expensive so just buy maternity trousers and extra large long tops. Works for me but will be glad to give birth with the heat over here so i don't have to wear so many layers to stop my bump escaping lol xx

Are maternity clothes as ugly there as here? The "nice" ones are so expensive.... and most of the rest is unflattering crap....

I tried to wear maternity jeans afterwards, and the waist was "blown out" - not enough elastic to keep my pants up! Lol. I say wait til after annd then buy the non-maternity jeans of your dreams!!!!! A reward perhaps.... I just have to wait til the swelling goes down...lol....

... i want some dungarees... i have told myself that i'm not buying any clothes because i can only wear them for a month now but if i find dungarees i can treat myself because i can wear them after baby...
not that i needed to stop myself from buying maternity clothes, the shops have done that for me... they seem to think small people can't have babies (i'm a 6/8 uk)...
i'm living in mens large tshirts and gym shorts!!!
my 2year old keeps asking me why i'm in my pjamas! haha!

haha, if it does get that desperate i will definitely post pictures. Might laugh your way into labour hun!! LOL I spent my entire last pregnancy wanting a pair of dungarees but never found any. Found them at 12 weeks this time but weather is too hot for them - so disappointed!! Although, to be honest, they don't look as good on me as they do on other pregnant women i have seen. Also, have you noticed how you can look at a pregnant woman and think she is the most beautiful vision because she is sacrificing her body to bring a new life into the world? How come we can't think that of ourselves when we're pregnant?? xx

I love the idea of the tent! Post pictures!!!! lol... I have that God forsaken sweatsuit that I bought in my last days with Noah (the one that my water broke in - Jeez, did I really keep it?????)..... Its a bit too big right now, so I have dreaded taking it out.... Uuuuggghhhh...

Haha, i know what you mean about the clothes Geralyn. We're going out for a picnic with Tom' best friends today and i just know the first thing i will say to their Mummies is "please let me know if bump tries to escape so i can pull my top down or hoist my trousers up" LOL
You haven't got long to go now though hun. I'm just contemplating cutting a hole in the top of my son's Spiderman tent for my head and wearing that for the next six weeks lol xx

I am in need of clothes... nothing fits... I even tried to raid my hubby's closet, and his shirts wouldn't cover my tummy. Its times like this I wish I married a man with a big beer belly... lol. I hate to buy fat clothes to wear for a month!!!!

Now I know what a blueberry feels like....
