Of course this is normal :) My suggestion is GO BUY A PREGNANCY PILLOW ;) It is awesome. I got a snoogle pillow at babies r us. It was about 52.00 but worth every penny. My husband loves it too and tries to steal it from me. I tried the regular body pillow but it wouldn't stay in place at night so the snoogle was a better fit for me since it surrounds you. It only gets worse from here out the bigger we get. Good luck :)

LOL Althea, you are not alone... with my first son I was able to fall asleep very fast and comfortably up until I was about 7 months. I am 20 weeks on Thursday and have had issues with getting comfortable this time around, I was registering for my baby shower at Babies R Us and found a pregnancy wedge. They are so wonderful I was using a pillow but it was still uncomfortable now I can sleep all through the night, well accept when I gotta get up in the middle of the night and go 2 to 3 times because my son's feet are sitting on my bladder.

Oh yes, I am that way now, I'm 18 weeks, this is my second child. You want to be able to get comfortable & believe me, it can be hard sometimes. Go out & get a body pillow. Walmart sells them for about $11.00, that's where I got mine from. It WILL become your best friend. You can sleep on your right side or your left side. But I guarantee you that it will help with getting comfortable. I would not go without a body pillow while i'm pregnant. I had one when I was pregnant with my 1st child. :) Best of luck & congratulations on your first baby :)
