What to get for a 1 yr old??

I'm very new to parenting, everything. My little girl's FIRST birthday is coming up in August! What do you get for a one year old little girl?! Helpp!! I'm clueless!

My son just turned 1 :) My husband and I got him a ball pit from walmart, he loves that thing!! He also loves stacking cups and and cars that move. Pretty much anything can entertain a 1 yr old haha try baby dolls or balls! My sister got out son a ball that lights up when you bounce it, he never puts it down. Or a pillow pet, my son has had his since he was 5 months old and LOVES it

I got my daughter a flinstone style car (push with her feet) with a trailer. She is my third daughter. My first I bought more keepsake style gifts like a jewelry box and a necklace. My second I gave a fisher price music table.

I think we got my son a little people's garage and someone else got him a little people's farm. I know his grandma got him a ride on toy that was a little plane. He loved it! My daughter turns 1 in August too! I am pretty sure we will get her a cute ride on toy or a rocking horse. My son's second bday present was a red wagon. We still use it. I put both of them in it now! You will get lots of comments when you are out and about at events. It is a sweet ride for a little person.

I have found at Kmart, this cool little 3 wheeler ride on that comes with a trailer and sandpit toys which I am going to get my daughter who is one 14th aug. I have a feeling the box will be more interesting to her though... maybe a box filled with toys that she can enjoy pulling out like blocks, cars and balls? I was told by a child development officer that the best toys for children 1yr and under are B toys- balls, blocks, books, bubbles etc good luck

I'm the same way my little girl turns a year old in August as well. My little one likes the toy keys that make sounds. That or maybe try getting her some blocks you know like the soft blocks that she can stack up or chew on. If your little one is anything like mine she likes to put everything into her mouth. I would just say get her some little tykes toys that grow as she grows. I hope this helps a little bit.
