So i have a 13 month old son and am 14 weeks pregnant and the changing of the poopy diapers are really getting to me. I have never experinced this before because when i had my last son my first one was already fully potty trained. This morning when i was getting him ready, i changed his bum and he was poopy (and it was not even that bad) and i had to run into the kitchen to throw up .. its was awful. I try to hold my breath and not breathe in the smell but it does not seem to help. Anyone else struggiling with this issue and if so have you found anything that helps?? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, it is making me sick again just thinking about it lol.

Oh yes the cat box is a killer, thankgoodness we no longer have a cat. I dont even like cats - but my husband does and we used to have one that he looked after. Then when he got his new job it caused him to be away for 10 days at a time so i was forced to take care of it. This was when i was pregnant the last time around and i just could not do it. So we had to give the cat away to a home where he would be better taken care of. So far the diapers are not getting any easier ...... i have just been plugging my nose with my shirt, which helps a little but not as much as i would like it too!

I get that way more about the catbox.... even freshly changed. I use fabreze like crazy around the box and with my daughter's diaper trash. Although her diapers seem to make my husband gag more than me... >

Ooooh yeah! I have that issue too! I have to hold my breath with I change my 2 year old daughter. I've gagged a few times and have ran to the bath room to barf. What i do is I but my nose under my shirt and hope the best the smell doesn't go threw. Someone mentioned vicks rub under your nose. I might try that.

Ya its not so nice is it?? My husband is away for 10 days at t time so its just down to me lol. Lately it seems like he has been saving them for the daycare lady (which has been nice lol) but now it seems that first thing in the morning when he wakes up he likes to do one for me!!

LOL yes I have been having issues changing my 7 mth old at times. If its in the evenings my husband will do it, but during the day I just have to hold my breath heh.

Same with baby food, I am having nauseous moments when feeding him peas.
