This worries me too, my sons were born in March and April and i always thought this was perfect times because they are not near too many holidays or anything. This time i am due Dec 5th, but will more than likely go early so end of Nov. Which is worse because there is already SO many birthdays in my family at the end of Nov. So i am not even sure how i think and when i want this baby to come lol.

I'm due the 14th, I have christmas sorted already though, because I always go over due and bboth my girls were 8 days over so if I end up in hospital on christmas day I'll be grumpy lol. I have all the presesntds sorted and on lay by and will pay the off the DH only needs to go pick them up. He is even a better gift wrapper than I am so he can wrap them if I'm not able. I'll just do birthday parties a little early and will not settle for combined christmas /birthday presesnts. you woukd be buying 2 anyway if the birthday was earlier in the year

We tooootally weren't planning for a Christmas baby, and now I'm due on the 17th. After having two chemical pregnancies in a row, the OB told me my period was due on April 1st. Well, I conceived March 28th and here we are. I'm happy about the baby, but always planned to have all summer babies. I have two girls who were born in July of '08 and July of '09. I'm hoping to go as early as safely possible (around 37 weeks) but we'll survive whatever happens! I can't wait to meet this little one and see how my girls interact with him/her!
Thanksgiving is the last Thursday of November.
There are already 3 birthdays in December in my husband's family, so I don't worry about the child being forgotten.
I'm used to the toy season thing for myself; so it will be pretty easy to handle for these two.

My first was born 11/14. I don't really have a problem with her having her b-day a week before thanksgiving. I love Fall and winter seasons because everyone in my family is home. I'm sure it'll be hard for her to celebrate her birthday and this new babies birthday so close to gether and both being so close to holidays when both are going to school. Our next baby is due December 18th (1 week before christmas!) and I know that'll be hard to organize a b-day party.

I'm due 12/3 and I'm really hoping to go in November. But in general I dislike the timing of late fall or winter B-days because of toy rotation. My daughter's b-day is 10/30 and in spring we end up spending money on summer toys and things that are presents for my neice born 5/26. We do try to put toys away for later but it doesn't always work out that way. Same goes for clothing. People try to buy for the next season but they always get the size wrong.

My twins were born December 13 2003. I personally hate it. They get lost in the shuffle. People are too busy to make it to their birthday party. And on and on. We usually try to celebrate it as early in the month as possible. That way it doesn't interfere with school holiday and it's not SO early to Christmas.
