I'm just getting into my 3rd trimester and I'm starting to experience some morning sickness. I haven't been sick the whole rest of this time and I'm trying to figure out why it's just starting now! This is beyond unpleasant.....has this happened to anyone else?? Does anyone have any tips on how to tone it down or make it stop??

I threw up a lot not too long before starting my 3rd trimester. I was perfectly fine until then. My doctor said it was acid reflux and gave me a few over the counter reflux meds. I feel much better since then!

I had nausea and vomiting most of my first trimester and finally my doctor told me to try 50mg of vitamin b6 and 1 pill of unisom (a sleeping pill) both taken right before you go to bed every night and from then on out I haven't had any nausea of vomiting and finally stopped loosing weight! I am now in my third trimester and every once in a while I will forget to take those pills before I go to bed and will wake up feeling nauseated all day even if I take those pills after I wake up. They worked for me and I am so happy! I still can't believe I am still having nausea this far along, but it isn't bothering me at all if I don't forget to take my pills. I would ask your doctor before taking these though just in case, but for me it was okay for me to take them. (I tried Zofran prescription pills from my doctor for nausea even and they didn't phase my nausea either).

I had bad sickness up until 20 weeks, then thankfully it went away. I have a son and I hardly ever felt sick during his pregnancy. Now at 28 weeks it's back, I was almost sick in church on Sunday! I've tried resting as being very tired seems to be a trigger at the moment.

I barely have it now (29 wks) but I had it a few days ago. I only get it if I don't eat right when I get up. Hope you feel better:)

27 weeks and I still haven't had a break from morning sickness... Try and eat before you get out of bed, and just try and avoid foods that make you ill, that's all you really can do.

This just started last week for me, and I have had crazy heartburn. My doctor gave me nexium, and suggested vit B6. I've been eating smaller more frequent meals. This seems to be helping. I also read that fresh papaya helps, although I haven't tried it yet.

I would think it would be the same as 1st trimester m/s and try to avoid foods that you know are making you sickly...keep crackers next to the bed, and ginger ale (or which ever drink you know helps calm your stomach) make sure to keep something on your stomach (small snacks inbetween meals are helpful) I generally have days here and there throughout that i am sickly feeling
