ANYONE ELSE GETTING IMPATIENT?

My due date was 1/2/11and I'm extremely anxious to be done. I as well am a VBAC so cannot be induced. I was checked a few days ago and not open at all but soft. My first son was only a day overdue so I'm really hoping something happens soon. I'm not in too much pain. I just have to go to the bathroom non-stop and have a hard time sleeping. I just cannot believe how these last few weeks have drug on. I was having so many Braxton Hicks that I thought for sure I'd go early. Wow, was I wrong. I have run, walked, eaten spicy food, had lots of sex and still nothing. I suppose he just isn't ready yet but that doesn't make it any easier to wait.

Yes, this is my 1st and I'm schedule for a c-section on 1/17/11, but if he wants to come now, mommy is so ready! I'm ready to see my lil man,plus mommy is getting very uncomfortable!

I'm 37w 2 days with twins and I was supposed to get induced yesturday but the docs decided to wait another week since both me and the boys are doing healthy!! It was the most disappointing news of my life!!! I was so ready to hold my babies and be done with this pregnancy. The pains of standing, sitting, laying down, walking, driving...everything hurts and I'm not normally one to complain either! I also have a 15 month old daughter which makes things hard aswell. Im still not dialated at all or effaced so I hope the induction goes well and doesnt end up in a c-section.

I am only 35wks 1day with my 2nd and last child. I am so ready to be finished. My other daughter was breech so she never dropped so I never got to feel this wonderful discomfort of the baby dropping. I now have to pee like every hour just about. Early this am I was up at 3am with bad right hip pain to the point where I could not roll over to switch positions without my husbands help. I had heartburn and nausea. Then I was awake every hour on the nose after that. SO YES I AM MOST READY to be done....I guess I will find out friday when I go see my OBGYN to see what she thinks. If these are not some signs she is coming early...I am in for 4 more weeks of torture....since she is scheduled to come by cesarean on Jan 24th. Due to her size. At 31 weeks she was already 4.5 lbs and in the 95% for weight.....So chances are shes about 6.5-7 now....

Jodie, I feel you! I've only been in once--last night--bc of the consistent and persistent pain. Three hours later, we were home again. My contractions weren't strong enough, I wasn't dilated enough (only 1.5 cm) and my cervix was still thick and tight. I got an Ambien for our troubles, and man, that kicked my butt all day! I was asleep pretty much from 1AM to 3PM, minus the couple of breaks where my hubby had me hydrate and eat! I'm 38wks 3dys, and I'm SO ready to be done!!

yes i really want mi lil man out i have been to the hospital 4x now with false alarms its driving mi crazy cos i been having period like pains for 6 days straight now oh im 38wks 6days

Cannot wait to meet my lil guy! I am 36 weeks... due Jan 18th. My Daughter was ten days over due. I am just hopping he is a little less comfy in there, and decides to make an appearance soon. Nothing is really happening yet which is making me nervous because I have to have a c-section if he doesn't come by 41 weeks. They won't induce this time around because I had a c-section before.

Im at 37 weeks and I can't wait for it to be over, my first pregnancy was great, I was full of energy never tired never sore... granted I am older this time around but this is horrible, constant heartburn, always tired, feet always swollen and absolutely no energy... I can't wait to be able to sit indian style without being in pain, go to a restaurant and sit comfortable in a booth and most of all sleep on my belly!

I'll be difficult! I'm okay with waiting until my due date. I feel really great and have lots of energy. This is our last (#3), so I want to enjoy it as long as I can!!!

Me, four!! I'm 36w4d and so ready to meet this baby already!! That, and I'd like my body back! My OB doesn't even start doing internal checks until 38 weeks, so I don't even know if I'm progressing! Add in that despite the lack of room, this kidlet is still so very active! He woke me up at 2:45 this morning to pee, so wowsa, I'm tired now!

I have no real precedence for his birth pattern either. His brother was a week early, his sister a week late. And if I get any bigger, omg, I may fall over! ;-)

definately an understatement for me too, i am way beyond impatient. im 36+1 weeks and i cant wait for this bubbah to arrive, with my first i went 2 weeks over so im really hoping it doesnt happen again or im pretty sure the water works might happen lol. i have a few friends that are due around the same time as me so we all talk about how ready we are to see our babies =P hope it happens for all of us soon xx ♥

Ha ha, I think impatient is an UNDER statement. I am majorly complaining. Every time I pee I just pray my water will break. I am 37 weeks right now and the doc says I am ready. I just worry about Christmas coming. Tick tock, the clock is ticking. I am also so tired of the pregnancy insomnia, 3-6 hrs a night with a 2 1/2 year old is making me insane.
