So, having spent the last week in Vegas--we got married on Saturday!--I've had access to many different buffets, which has proven instrumental in determining what this baby likes and doesn't like!! I've figured out:

-I can only have so much sugar
-no pork (so sad about my new lack of bacon!!)
-corn dogs are out, too
-salty chicken or beef is an instant no-no (we're assuming salty food in general)
-watermelon makes me happy, though
-pizza (the sauce does me in)
-Mexican food is iffy (sadly), but we're still sorting what it might be

So what about you guys?

Oh, and oddly enough, my normal pica for crushed ice is missing this time around!!

I am happy to add Ragu, ground beef and chicken back into my diet! Bacon's still out, as is just about everything else pork, but I'm surviving! :-)

Michelle, I feel ya!
Every night is like an hour conversation about what I feel like eating, that I need to eat (I'm so tired of finding out that food I loved pre-preggo make me nauseous now!), and if I can cook or if the smell will make me just as icky! I'm ready for this phase to be done already!

Congrats on the wedding:) I got married in Vegas as well in April! My cravings/aversions vary from day to day though constantly has been any type of spaghetti with any or even no sauce. For the past few weeks I couldn't eat anything that I made/cooked and I am starting to get over that slowly.
Cravings(right now)- fresh lemonade, cherry anything, fresh fruit, jello( lots of it), mexican food
aversions-spaghetti, potato salad, chili, most things I cook and half the stuff that is in my house to eat right now.

I am hoping I will go back to being able to eat atleast what I cook because I don't like spending money to eat or or waiting for husband to come home and cook.

Due to issues I've been having with food, I've had to add Ensure to my diet. It's the only thing that gets me through my mornings--I so jinxed myself the other day thinking I was done with morning sickness!--and one of the few things that doesn't throw off the apparently delicate balance in my body.

So far I haven't had much nausea at all and if I do start to feel queasy, a popcicle straightens me right out. Although all I crave is cold stuff (fruit, cereal, salad and tons of tomatoes), I've noticed that food in general tastes better to me than it ever has before! I guess I've lucked out so far. Every once in a while I'll put a bite into my mouth, only to pop it right back out, but generally, that's toward the end of a meal and I guess Baby's decided he/she has had enough.

With my 3 year old all I could eat was chinese food or taco bell, but with this one most mexican is a no! Can't eat ham at all, and even bacon is iffy (even though that's all i wanted about a month ago)...now the big cravings have been italian food, and grits covered in cheese and mushrooms, with a waffle, or pizza...so odd!

With my daughter who is now 2yrs old I craved fast food. This time around I crave pickles so pickles and peanut butter, Pickles that are inside a piece of ham. Nothing to weird. Turn offs I have found are sausages. My poor husband made this great breakfast for me and I took one bite of sausage and gagged and I love sausages normally. But other than that I don't think I have found any others so far.

My first pregnancy just the smell of pizza or dorito's sent me running for a trashcan. This time is chicken, it has to be good and dry or I can't eat it, and greasy bacon or anything with bacon grease. But Chili's Shinerbock BBQ ribs have go to be the best ever! A good Ham, cheese sandwich with mustard and pickles is great for lunch lol...

My first pregnancy I could eat everything. This time around I can't eat much. I have been craving fruit, mostly pineapples, pretty much since day one. I crave spicy food a lot but everything except fruit seems to upset my stomach.

the site of raw meat, ground beef (taco meat), baked chicken, & spaghetti so far all make me sick :(
this is my second pregnancy & it is so different from when I had my daughter...the worst part so far is that I cant cook in my own house because it makes me sick, my husband has to cook for him & our daughter while i go to another room & eat a bowl of cereal :(
