Just checking in to see how everyone's doing!

My LO is 3 weeks tomorrow, and I'm already thinking "omg, time flies!" :-) He's healthy and happy and already growing like a weed! We're breastfeeding with a formula supplement (waiting for my fenugreek to arrive to up my milk production!) right now, so we're only up twice a night with a long nap in the morning. The older kids--12 and 13--are in love with their new baby brother, and it's so sweet to watch them interact with him.

As for me, I'm pretty good! I've lost 33 lbs since giving birth (thank you, breastfeeding gods!), putting me under my pre-pregnancy weight! Now if I could just get this extra tire off my middle!! I'm trying to remember to eat and stay hydrated, and I'm getting in naps whenever Des sleeps (I'm getting used to two hour power naps!). Not looking forward to going back to work in a month, but a working mom's gotta do what a working mom's gotta do!

How is everything in your neck of the woods?

Hey everyone! Alexander and I are doing well! He eats every 3 hrs during the day at 6oz and at night he's up at least once sometimes twice and goes right back to sleep. It's been interesting again being a mom and starting over again. I'm trying to get him to 'soothe' himself to sleep and yes, I've been letting him cry it out for sometimes 20 to 30mins. It's hard for me but not my hubby, he's always telling me, let him cry and he'll be fine.... Well the other kids love him and always wanting to help feed him and change him. So thats good! I hope the rest of you are doing well through this transitional time too! Take Care and God Bless ♥

Sarah is 8 wks today. She is doing very well sleeps about 5 hrs through the night. She is strictly breastfed and only had formula in hospital and only 1 time at home but that was cuz daddy didnt use the breastmilk that was frozen in the freezer. She is now 11 lbs and 21.5" tall so she is doing really well. It helps that she sleeps that long at night since I have an almost 3 yr old daughter that is very active during the day so I need all the energy I can get. I am so thankful that I am already down to my pre pregnancy weight and looking to get down to my other pre pregnancy weight that I was with my other daughter I am about 5-7lbs away from that goal too. Only reason sarah sleeps so long at night is that during the day she cluster feeds like crazy. Every 1-3 hrs.

Take Care and God Bless all of you on your happy arrivals!!! ♥

@Kellie, he eats every 2.5 to 3 hours, occasionally 4 if I've supplemented with formula at bedtime, but not that often. My boobs finally don't ouchie when he starts eating anymore, for which I'm SO grateful!

We are doing good. My little guy is also 3 wks tomorrow and I to cannot believe it has been 3 weeks. He does pretty good at night. I usually have to get up for at least two feedings. Sometimes he goes right back to sleep and other times he'll want to stay awake for awhile. I am exclusively breastfeeding as well but still have about 15 lbs to lose. I'm hoping it will come right off once I'm able to start running again. I ran right up until I gave birth but had to have a c section so I can't exercise for 3 more weeks. I'm hoping to take a couple more months off work but may go back sooner if things get tight financially. Does your little guy eat every 3 or 4 hrs. during the day? I can't remember when I started feeding my first son every 4 hrs instead of every 3. Sometimes I'll even wake him up to feed him.
