Having gone through it with the first one, I demanded Zofran from the doctor as soon as I started feeling ill. This time around it barely helped and I still got sick with it until about the 3rd month. I am at 20 wks and still have to take one pill every morning. Anything I eat in the morning comes up so I don't bother and just take my pills.

I tried all of the above and then some, spent a fortune. Ended up going to the Doctor and he gave me some Maxolon. Told me to keep well hydrated and have carbs as they seem to stick in your stomach longer. Eat small bits and often. It's really hard to though especially when you vomit every couple of hours but at least you have something to bring up. Try staminade, gatorade - they seem to give you some extra sugar and salt for really bad days of vomiting. Fruit and dry biscuits / toast. My all day sickness started at 5 weeks to around 15 weeks. Only now do I feel human again. It's horrible but it doesn't last forever. Just go easy on yourself and get plenty of rest if you can. Best of luck to you all.

I've tried saltine crackers, ginger ale, making myself eat meals, eating throughout the day nothing helps that much. It goes. Away and comes back or stays with me all day it depends the doc said it might go away between 12 and 14 weeks so I'm hoping it will stop soon

The most successful thing I've done in the last 24 hours was crystallized ginger tea. It helped immensely with the nausea and even helped with my headache (which was probably helped by the fact that I didn't throw up at all since I started using it!)
My OB nurse also recommended lemon. In your water. In your herbal tea (not green). In your face. Seriously, cut one in half and just inhale it. She said it's better than any shot she could give me nausea and colds.

I use Sea Bands, you can get them at CVS or WalGreens. They work great! or try taking some extra vitamin B6!!

Flat sprite or 7up and saltine crackers first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. Sip on the drink all day and add water in there too. you can also try those motion sickness wrist bands or patches. You can also try some raw ginger in some luke warm tea or ginger ale. I used the wrist band and it really helped me with my first one. I was sick for almost 5 months straight, all day everyday. Hope this helps.

I had never had morning sickness with the first pregnancy and this time mine was almost never ending. The things that helped me were Drinking a glass of milk before bedtime, it helps me not to be hungry in the morning. I hate the saltine crackers, but crackers with cheese helps settle my stomach too sometimes. If nothing else works for me I go sit up in my bed and drink water and eat ginger snap cookies. They work the best. Good Luck to you!

Well ladies, with this child being my third, I didn't have morning sickness until today this morning. So I'm kinda relieved that I had it. I was feeling like it wasn't normal like what Beck was saying. Being sick is good, you know that the baby is growing! My 1st appt is on Mon and I believe I'm just 6 wks now. Praying for all you ladies during these special times in our lives!! God Bless all of you!! ♥

If you are having the kind of morning sickenss once you wake up thry this...
Leave a bag of saltine crackers by your bed. Once you wake up eat just one. Wait about 15 min and eat another. It should progress from there.
Second either ginger ale or ginger pills. Last time it did work for me too well but I have hear it works very well.
Good luck. I have hear MOST of the time it ends around 12 weeks or so...
This time around no morning sickenss at all. So far so good, docs say baby is doing great.

Ginger ale is my lifesaver. Between the carbonation and the ginger, it really helps.
Also, even if you don't feel like eating, you need to eat something. Even if it's something as simple as chicken or beef broth and crackers. Fruit is good. Keep it simple. Keep it small. But eat.
Hang in there. It won't last forever.

Oh and P.S
Sickness is good! Its a sign of a really healthy pregnancy. I had a silent miscarriage before my little boy and I had stopped feeeling sick and it was then that the baby had died so when I was sick with Corey I was always like "being sick is good, it means he is hanging in there and is growing"! It helped... a little! lol

Awwww good luck, I feel you pain! I had yucky sickness all day and all night with my first! I am about to hit 6weeks this time which is when it started last time so I am nervous! and not looking forward to seeing the inside of my toilet bowl so personally again!
I tried everything, eating before I got out of bed, crackers, ginger, travel sickness bands, morning sickness tablets..... everything... NOTHING HELPED the all day 'hung over' feeling.
I did try accupuncture and did think that helped. I will start again 'if' (I am trying to be positive that I wont feel so yuk this time!) I get sick again but will start earlier, I started at 11weeks last time. I felt really yuk til 16weeks which is when I stopped vomitting EVERY day and then it was every now and then. I am lucky, several of my friends have just been in hospital cos they were so dehydrated they cant keep ANYTHING down. I could still eat just felt yucko!
Good luck, its so worth it but besides accupuncture I would say, save your money on everything else and put it towards nappies!
