Hi! My daughter's 1st birthday is coming up and I am trying to decide whether or not to invite other mom's with babies close to her age...or just keep it simple with family members and a few close friends. What did you do, or what are your plans, for your baby's 1st birthday guests?! Thanks for any feedback!!!

My son's birthday is the 28th, his party is the 5th. We rented a place that my family always uses for partys. And as of right now there are about 90 people invited (give or take a few). My boyfriend and I wanted to go all out for our son's first birthday !!!! We invited our immediate family, aunts/uncles, great aunts/uncles, cousins, a few friends with children and a few close family friends!! I'm not planning any specific games because there aren't that many children. But we plan on having a blast !!! Good luck =)

Our twins just had their first birthday party this past weekend. We had the grandparents, an uncle and some close friends. Had a few more that were supposed to come but their little ones were sick. We had a lot of fun. Our girls love interacting with the other kids and all our family lives out of state so we did a party friends and family.

We are having a few different things. The first one is a party at a Baby Gym with all of the parents and babies in our prenatal class. The second is a small family party at our house with his grandparents an and aunt and two uncles. The third thing is actually just by chance. We will be out of town with a bunch of friends right around his birthday so we are planning to have cupcakes for him while we are away. We wanted to keep it simple because he gets over whelmed in big crowds. Happy Birthday to all of you!

She seemed to like it there a week ago. I have to find something that could occupie 13 kids that are older lol.

I've invited friends, family, fellow mommies, all of them! But, we can't fit everyone in our house so we rented a place for it. It's a big bash! We're kind of thinking doing more of an intimate one next year, but it's his very first birthday, I want to do it with a bang, you know?

Yeah, it was a tough one for me too... in my perfect world I think I would have invited close to 200 people-- but a SAHM budget & small home won't allow it!

So I invited: close & extended family, few good friends + their children (not ALL friends), and some former co-workers :)

I have invited my friends, family and my daughters friends from her daycare and we're having her party at the pool. Swimming followed by cake. Should be fun:)
