I had my second about a 1 1/12 after my first. They are really close. Then I had my third about 3 1/2 years after my second. I wish I would have had my third child closer in age to my second child. I thought it was nice having the first two so close because they could do more together. Plus my first two got potty trained at the same time. I had to train my son( the oldest because he was 3 and I thought he should be potty trained by then) and my daughter wanted to ues the potty. I personally like when they are closer in age but it really depends on what you want. If you feel ready you should do it! Good Luck!

My daughter is 31 months and I'm 8 weeks pregnant. I have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months and finally it happened for me! You can always start trying and it will happen when the time is right! my daughter is so excited about the new baby. Good luck to you what ever you decide!

I am studying education and child development and they suggest that three years is best for parents and kids=) I used that with my children and the second one and first are almost three years apart and play and get along fine. Plus she was pretty independant when he was born so it gives you time to spend with your new baby. My third we tried for three years as well but ended up a little over four years apart and it is great to but he is so much younger I know as my second gets older they wont be so close. My fourth son was born when Jayden the third was two, it has been really challenging, I had to potty train while nursing and Jayden still needs so much attention that I feel I am neglecting him to care for the newborn, he loves his new baby brother but for me waiting was much easier and waiting till they are potty trained saves on diaper costs!!

Im in the same boat. My son is 32 months and I wanted another one right away. But after talking to people they told me to wait and enjoy my sons toddler years. Im very happy I did wait but now I'm beyond ready! Good luck to you.

I have 2 1/2yr old boy a 14mo old girl and our third is due in fed/march time. I like to keep them close, it seems easier to handle similar stages at the same time. But to each her own, if possible you should feel ready to have more before you get pregnant. But they are a blessing either way planned or surprise
