my husband is currently over seas serving our country and is gonna miss out on our sons first thanksgiving, christmas, and birthday.. i really dont know what to do to make this easier on him and his daddy. it tears him apart to know that he wont be able to be there for his 1st everything but i would like to make it special for him to even though he is in iraq. does anyone have anything good in mind or any advice on how to let him feel like he is involved too?

Is video Skype available to him? It might help to have him share in it. I feel for you guys. I must be so tough on both of you. I hope you have lots of people around to lean on during this time. Thinking about you and your family!

I would definatly video tape different things like your son opening his presents on christmas and his birthday and everyone singing happy birthday to him and him eating his birthday cake...i mean i no its not the same but atleast he will be able to see it
