I'm 39 weeks due on the 24th. I am very sore in my lower abdomen ,pelvic area. The baby is sitting right on my bladder and I been having contractions thst have been consistant but then stop. I havent lost my mucus plug yet or been losing any fluid yet. At my 36 week appt I was 1cm dialated but i havent been checked since then.

i had the really bad pelvic pains since the 5th month of my pregnancy (just delivered on the 4th of Jan.) and doctor said it was normal and the reason for it was because my baby was so low and she was a big girl (9 lbs 4 oz). the pains got so bad towards the end of my pregnancy (i even went past my due date by two weeks!!) to where i couldnt turn to my other side in bed and i could barely walk. dont worry..youre not alone...hope everything goes well with your delivery! congrats!!

I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and have been having contractions for a couple of months now. I have the same lower abdomen and pelvic soreness too. My doc. told me it was normal since i have three other kids so my body is just getting ready for delivery again. I am pretty much waiting for my cervic to move from one cm. to more. I pretty much have to sufer through the contraction and the uncomfortableness until birth which is the 26th. So I don't think it is anything to worried about but if you are than talk to your doc. Best of luck on everything.
