I've been really lucky & I am still breastfeeding. Sarah is 20 weeks old now & won't take a bottle. She also doesn't like formula milk. I'm hoping to start her on baby rice soon soon but i don't want to stop the breastfeeding yet.

breast... and firmly believe thats the way it should be unless medical indication otherwise. We are humans, our babies are designed to drink human milk...not cows, goats or soy!

Both! At first it was strictly breastfeeding, and then my breastmilk took a plunge, so I started supplimenting, and now its about half and half. I figure she is getting benefits from the breastmilk, but i just cant keep up with her demand. she is also starting on some rice cereal now.

Breast :) I agree it is hard at night, but with the hubby deployed there's no one to share the night feeding even if I did pump or supplement. I have used a bottle before hubby deployed when I needed a break. She won't take one from me, though. She thinks I'm holdin' out! haha

Bottle - I spent 18 hours a day trying to express for a baby that was so tiny she couldn't feed. This went on for months. Still have people asking me if I'm breastfeeding and still almost end up in tears. Felt so useless and yet people still decide to have their say. Do what works for you... Yes, breast milk is best but sometimes there isn't another choice than to use formula.

Both until recently. I got sick and had to take meds that I couldn't breast feed on. I miss breastfeeding. :(

i am really working hard on continuing the breastfeeding, although i do give him a bottle JUST at night time so i KNOW he has a full belly for bedtime, bc i can actaully measure it out. and its alot quicker! lol when he's ready for bed, so am i!

I am bottle feeding breast milk. I didn't enjoy BF but I wanted her to get breast milk so its worked for us -- want to switch to formula around 6 months... tired of pumping :s

bottle.
expressed and tried to establish breastfeeding for almost 3 months whilst little guy was in NICU to no avail, my milk ran out after 11 weeks and was forced to switch to bottle.
genuinely gutted.

Breast! When Mommy gets a break and leaves the house, Daddy gives her breast milk in the bottle.

Breast but I am thinking about moving on to bottle. Selfish reasons really.....I need sleep. I am up 5 times a night and feel like I am not enjoying her anymore. Really sad as I love breast feeding but I am permanently run down now as I havn't slept properly for 4 months. :(

Bottle... my boys always been supplemented, just never had sufficient milk supply, even took some kind of drug to try and increase it without any luck so he was supplemented until he was 3mths and then we moved to the bottle full time. Was hard decision and felt useless that I was unable to breastfeed but was the best way to go for us in the end.
