I see it posted a lot about when babies crawl, my question is what do YOU consider crawling? Personally i consider my son a crawler, not a high crawl not a belly off the floor crawl, infacts it's a belly or army crawl as some would say, in his case I call it a POWER CRAWL, you would really just have to see they way he does it to understand.

Anyways What do you consider CRAWLING, when do the go from inchworms and scooting, to thoughful and intented crawling?

My little man started with the commando crawl as I called it, but just as you described, the belly POWER crawl!! He's JUST started the hands and knees belly off the ground crawl two days ago! We're still not proficient at it yet but I'm thinking in no time at all I'll be chasing him around the house :)

I think army crawling counts. You may find he never gets up on hands and knees until after he is walking. The majority of doctors would count the army crawl as crawling as well. If he can get from point "a" to point "b" (without just rolling there) it counts. :-)

My daughter started off with the Army low crawl. Or at least that is what I called it. But when she started doing that, I considered it crawling. Now she is full fledged crawling and into everything!
