Every 2-3 days, and between then he gets little sponge baths with cloth wipes that I keep in a homemade solution. The smell soo good and leave his skin nice and soft!

i don't necessarily bathe her everyday but i definitely wash her butt every day. If she has a really nasty blowout, wipes just don't cut it.

I bathe my 6 week old every night because it makes him sleep better. I don't necessarily wash him with soap every night but I do let him play in his little bath tub every night before bed and he LOVES it and only wakes up one time overnight!

I bathe my month and a half old son everyday. He showers with me or my husband every time we will shower. He doesn't have a problem with severe dry skin because of it either. Its a great skin to skin contact time, and I agree with Misty, definitely mommy and baby (or daddy and baby) time :D

1-2 a week for me, as long as you do the top to toe with a wash cloth or baby wipe i think thats fine, although a bath does calm her down she likes being really warm :)

I bathe my daughter (5wks) nightly before bedtime as it soothes & helps her fall asleep, I skiped a bath 2 different times and she stayed up half the night. I dont use a ton of baby soap or "scrub" her and so far her skin and head (full head of hair) are just fine, fingers crossed that I dont end up having to choose over dry skin or a fussy baby, LOL!

No twice a week because their skin is so sensitive and dry because of winter.

i bath my daughter who is little over three weeks old about 2to3 times a week becouse if you bath them to much you are getting rid of there nautural oils and they need that so there skin does not get to dry expecialy in the winter.

I was told not too. It dries their skin out. I do about every 2-3 days. Basically when he hair is oily and she doesn't smell fresh anymore. Good luck and congrats

No I don't. Abigail has recently broken out because of the lotion I was putting on her. Her pediatrician has since recommended using warm water and soap on her face and bathing her several times per week.

My daughter is 5 weeks old and I have bathed her everyday with very few exceptions. Since her cord came off, we have taken baths together (it's easier to handle a squirmy wet baby in the tub). It gives us some mommy baby time and helps her relax. I haven't had any problems with overly dry skin.

My daughter is 3weeks3days and I bathe her usually at bed time every night. I notice her relax more and she enjoys the bath too. If I dont have a chance to bathe her I do wipe her down like a sponge bath. Her skin isnt dry nor flakey. Although she isnt "Dirty" yet or doesnt get dirty, She does spit up or lets milk run down her neck when she is nursing so I just think its refreshing too. I skipped a bath the other night and noticed she wasnt as relaxed as she is other nights.

I'm with Candace here! I bathe my one month old every day, because I'm also following a routine. I've tried bathing him every other day, but he gets real fussy without a bath. My other two children aged 2 and 4 take one every other day.

Hi. When I had my 2nd child I bathe him everyday, turned out infants skin is more sensitive than I thought. His skin got so dried he ended up with eczema. So now that I am on my 5th child I dont bathe him unless I think he needs it or he is fussy. Turns out that a bath actually soothes my little one. Bathe, cuddle him up all nice and warm, 2 seconds he is OUT!!

No, you don't need to bathe a 1 mo old every day. Usually, every 2 or 3 days is fine as long as you do a wash-over with a washcloth or baby wipe for spot cleaning. Most babies can't take a bath everyday as it is too drying to the skin still.
I have a 20 month old and a 2 week old. My 20 month old still doesn't get a bath everyday unless she's gone out to play or it's warm weather...she still gets a bath every other day. Being inside, she doesn't get dirty enough to bathe daily. My 2 week old gets a bath every 3 days (a day when the other doesn't get a bath), but she is cleaned with a washcloth as needed during the day.

I used to bath my 1st son everyday, but with my 2nd I only bath him every 3 days as I have learnt they dont get dirty, only his little bum that gets cleaned with every nappy change.

I typically bathe my 5 week old every two to three days. Otherwise he starts to smell a bit.

wow, Im the odd one out... My son virtually gets a bath everyday. My two year old needs a constant routine, figured its best to get into a nightly routine with both of my kids before I go back to work. less change is better (for my 2yr old). plus I feel better knowing that he's clean.. from making a mess with his bottle, to spit up, to dirty diapers. Im sure hes clean, just this way I KNOW he's clean, if you know what I mean :)

I bathe my 1 month old usually 2 times a week. He has really sensitive skin so if we bathe him any more than that, he gets really dry, flaky skin.

...My son gets a bath once a week. He'll be a month [4 wks] on 02/15. Babies really don't get very dirty, and if they get lots of baths in the winter it can lead to dry skin.

I dont. I bathe my daughter 2-3 times a week. Because if you think about it, they really aren't that dirty yet. I don't think it's necessary everyday.
