CONGRATS TO ALL!!!! so yeah! that is the formula that they give my baby on the hospital, she is 1 month old, she eats 4oz every 4 hr.
Dr. said it was perfect so here you have the new mom advice!
hey FYI the dr. also said if you breast feed it doesnt matter what brand of formula you use, cuss the breat milk provides protection for his tummy.
hope it helps.

My son is 3 weeks and he nurses, I don't plan on giving him any kind of formula. He eats for about 10-15 mins all the time, but 2-3 hrs during the day and 4-6 at night. It's nice :) lol

I switch between BF/formula...I use Similac Neo Sure when Im not BFing..The reason being my son was small @ birth {4.11} & The NICU at the hospital & my doctors wanted to monitor his weight up to his 6wks..He's a little over a month & near 7lbs.

He eats anywhere between 2.5-4oz every hr & a half-2 hrs

My son will be 1 month on the 19th. We feed him 4 ounces every 3 hours of the Similac Advance (with the shield). He seems to be gassy from it though, however his Dx said not to change the formula as of yet.

my son turned 1 month Feb 8th, He was eating 3 oz every three hours now he eats 4 oz every four hours, similac advanced. this feeding schedule was recommended by the nurse that visited us two days after our coming home from the hospital. its frustrating that they don't tell you how much infants should eat, planned on asking the doctor at his one month check up yesterday, but we got snowed in :(

My lil man will be 4 weeks old on the 16th. He is breasfed on demand, so sometimes it feels like he feeds every few minutes, lol. During the day he eats fairly constantly maybe every hour. By late afternoon he goes for 3-4 hours and during the night 5-7 hours.

My daughter will be one month on the 11th.. She eats 4 - 5oz every few hours. She has just started sleeping about 5 hours at night and then will eat 5oz when she gets up. She actually ate 7oz last night when she woke up after sleeping 5 hours. Dr. said she is a hungry little girl! Oh, and she is on Similac Sensitive. We tried the store brand equivalents for it and they gave her horrible gas and made her really fussy and uncomfortable so we have to buy the expensive stuff!

My son is 1 month old today. =-) He has tummy issues and is on Enfamil Gentlease, and he eats 4 oz every 3-4 hrs, but could eat up to 5 oz (given what the dr told me yesterday) since he is 11 lbs 4 oz.

My son was a month old on February 4th. He has had a sensitive stomach from day 1 so he's been put on Similac Alimentum which is hypoallergenic and definately helps his little tummy. He usually eats about 4-6oz every few hours -- he's gonna be a big boy!
